On January 6, 2021, hundreds of thousands of Americans traveled to Washington, D.C., to protest election fraud. Some were captured on video seemingly entering the Capitol illegally, though footage also shows Capitol Police steering people through barricades and into the people’s house without resistance. Some stood outside on the Capitol grounds singing the National Anthem and praying. Still others used their phones to record what was really happening, as the majority of the American-flag-waving crowd were nonviolent, law-abiding citizens making known their political convictions that the 2020 presidential election was rigged.
