On December 3, Project Veritas released an undercover interview with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) employee Brent Efron, who said the EPA is hurriedly doling out taxpayer funds to nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) before President-elect Donald Trump takes office. As noted by the December 5 New York Sun, the money is coming from President Joe Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act.

Efron, a special advisor implementing the Biden administration’s climate agenda, spoke about his role in giving out more than $100 billion in grants before Trump takes over. “Now it’s how to get the money out as fast as possible before they [the Trump administration] come in.… It’s like we’re on the Titanic and we’re throwing gold bars off the edge,” Efron said.

Trump has said he will remove the United States from the Paris climate agreement, as he did during his first term, and that he has a plan to “terminate the Green New Deal, which I call the Green New Scam.”
