A Note to Our Readers

Are you better off today than you were in 2020? I wager that few readers of The New American, or many other Americans for that matter, would say that they are. Bidenomics has laid waste to middle-class American prosperity.

On October 12, the House Budget Committee published a press release noting that total inflation under Biden has exceeded 17 percent. Committee chairman Jodey Arrington (R-Texas) noted that “a family of four is paying $15,133 per year, or $1,261 per month, more to purchase the same goods and services compared to the day President Biden took office.” “Every day,” Arrington continued, “they are being forced to choose between medicine or the rent, putting food on the table or gas in the car. The American people cannot afford this Administration’s failed economic agenda.”

These outrageous increases are impacting businesses as well as individuals, and The New American is not immune. Due to rapidly increasing costs of production and delivery, we have been forced to raise the price of this magazine. As a result, we are raising our cover price by $1 per issue. We are also increasing the price of subscriptions, particularly for digital and combo subscriptions.
