In a letter to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Representative Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), Meta Platforms Founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg admitted that the Biden-Harris administration was behind Facebook censorship, stating the social-media company was “repeatedly pressured” to censor information related to Covid-19.

Zuckerberg continued, stating the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) warned Facebook that the New York Post story about Biden family corruption before the 2020 election was a Russian disinformation operation, resulting in Facebook censoring the story. Zuckerberg noted those allegations were proven to be false:

It’s since been made clear that the reporting was not Russian disinformation, and in retrospect, we shouldn’t have demoted the story.

In response to the letter, the GOP’s House Judiciary X account stated:

Mark Zuckerberg just admitted three things: 1. Biden-Harris Admin “pressured” Facebook to censor Americans. 2. Facebook censored Americans. 3. Facebook throttled the Hunter Biden laptop story. Big win for free speech.

The House Judiciary GOP account also stated Zuckerberg said he would not spend money to influence the 2024 presidential election, stating on X:

Mark Zuckerberg also tells the Judiciary Committee that he won’t spend money this election cycle. That’s right, no more Zuck-bucks. Huge win for election integrity.
