The first three pages of Nashville Covenant school shooter Audrey Hale’s manifesto have been leaked to political commentator Steven Crowder.

Hale killed three students and three staff members in March 2023, and went by the name Aiden Hale. She identified as a transgender man and was a former student of the Presbyterian elementary school.

The leaked manifesto refers to the shooting as “Death Day,” and Hale wrote, “Can’t believe Im doing this, but Im ready… I hope my victims aren’t.” The manifesto also indicates that the shooting was racially motivated, “wanna kill all you little crackers,” and Hale specifically targeted children, writing, “Kill those kids.”

Many of the victims’ family members are seeking to block the public release of the manifesto, but Republican Tennessee Senator Bill Hagerty called for its release, saying, “I think people do deserve to know what took place, [and] what was in the mind of this sick person that committed these heinous murders.” The manifesto has not been officially released by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department due to pending litigation.
