Former President Donald Trump is scheduled to testify under oath today in the $250 million New York civil fraud case against him, and will face questioning from Senior Enforcement Counsel Kevin Wallace of the New York State Attorney General’s Office. New York Attorney General Letitia James spoke to reporters outside the Manhattan courthouse shortly before the trial resumed Monday morning.

“Before he takes the stand, I am certain that he will engage in name calling, and taunts, and race baiting, and call this a witch hunt. But at the end of the day the only thing that matters are the facts and numbers. And numbers, my friends, don’t lie.”

The $250 million lawsuit alleges that The Trump Organization and several individuals committed financial fraud by overvaluing real estate assets for better terms on commercial real estate loans and insurance policies. Eric Trump and Donald Trump, Jr. testified last week, and Ivanka Trump is scheduled to testify on Wednesday, as her lawyers were unable to block her from testifying.

The trial is now in its sixth week and nearing its end. New York State Judge Arthur Engoron ruled against the former president on the claim of “persistent and repeated fraud” in September, and will rule on the remaining claims that include insurance fraud, falsifying business records, and issuing false financial statements.
