World Economic Forum Sounds the Alarm on the “Rise of the Far Right”
The World Economic Forum (WEF), the new standard-bearer of globalism and European internationalism, has highlighted on its website an interview conducted by the London School of Economics’ Joanna Bale with Marta Lorimer, lecturer on politics at Cardiff University and self-styled expert on “far right politics.” The full interview, of which the LSE article is only an excerpt, can be found on YouTube, with a poster showing Elon Musk’s now-debunked “Nazi salute.” It opens with an ominous and ultimately meaningless account of a British Muslim who claimed that demonstrators “looked right through him.” All this, over the soundtrack of a roaring crowd for maximal “Nazi association.”
The WEF, meanwhile, in linking to the Lorimer interview, warns of the “rising influence of radical right parties across Europe,” along with their “nativist and authoritarian ideologies” and their preoccupation with “migration and inequality.” All these, of course, are anathema to the EU Powers That Be, and articles like this are indicative of how worried the Eurocrats and globalists are becoming over the rise of nationalism across Europe. — Steve Bonta
A Hotel in Epping, England, Is the Latest Flashpoint of Europe’s War Over Illegal Immigration
The Bell Hotel in Epping, England, has been the subject of weeks of boisterous protests by ordinary English sick and tired of the years-long campaign by Europe’s elites, in Davos and elsewhere, urging upon Europeans an ever-greater tsunami of illegal, non-Western immigrants, mostly from Africa and the Middle East. The torrent of immigrants, especially from Muslim countries, has completely overwhelmed the societies of the U.K., France, the Netherlands, Germany, Scandinavia, and the rest of Western Europe with crime, terrorism, rising social unrest, and mushrooming public cost for welfare benefits extended to Europe’s millions of new arrivals.Â
Bell Hotel is one of many private hotels requisitioned by the British government to house illegal immigrants (coyly termed “asylum seekers” in BBC coverage of this and similar stories), many of whom are now arriving on Albion’s shores in flotillas of small boats. Illegals in living accommodations such as the Bell Hotel are living lives of comparative luxury on the British taxpayers’ dime, while working-class people in the surrounding city struggle to survive.
And now, the elites are fighting back, courtesy of a captive court system and Labor government utterly dedicated to defending the interests of the wealthy, privileged, and pro-EU set above those of British citizens. First came the Starmer government’s argument in court on August 28 that the ECHR (European Convention on Human Rights) took precedence over the rights of the community and citizens of Epping. Then came the overturn, by a three judge panel, of a previous High Court ruling in favor of Epping Forest District Counsel’s bid to end the use of the Bell Hotel for housing illegals. This overturn was in response to Home Office lawyers representing the Starmer government making a legal example out of Epping. Adding insult to injury, the Home Office of the Starmer government issued a statement confirming that the rights of “asylum seekers” trump those of the people of Epping. Undeterred, Epping officials announced their intention to appeal the decision to the Supreme Court — only to be told that their application for an appeal had been rejected, with “no reasons given.”
This sort of infuriating, high-handed, no-recourse catering to the agenda of U.K. and European elites at the expense of everyone else is a salutary reminder of why our ancestors broke away from the Old World way of doing things.
And there is to be no recourse or respite for the people of Epping, where police are cracking down on protesters, rounding up people suspected of preparing to travel there  to protest, and prohibiting the wearing of face coverings to hide identity.
Bell Hotel is only one instance of a “long train of abuses and usurpations” in the name of protecting “asylum seekers,” but it has become a rallying point for the U.K.’s rising tide in favor of pro-British reform that began — but certainly did not end — with the Brexit movement of a decade ago. Nigel Farage’s Reform Party is now bidding fair to become the U.K.’s new major political party, replacing the feckless Conservatives. It is now polling at about 35 percent favorability — numbers unthinkable for any UK third party just months ago — while Starmer is stagnating at 20 percent.Â
We wish our British friends and allies the best in their epic struggle against an increasingly tyrannical and indifferent ruling elite. We’ve been there and done that — about 250 years ago. — Steve Bonta
American Man Assaulted by Knife-wielding Syrian Drug Dealer in Germany After Trying to Defend a Woman From Attack by the Criminal
In yet another horrific instance of the ongoing price being paid for the unending influx of illegal immigrants in Europe — mostly from non-Western countries — John Rudat, a 21 year-old American tourist visiting in Dresden, Germany, was assaulted and severely disfigured by a knife-wielding Syrian drug dealer who was harassing and trying to attack two German women. Rudat, a part-time model and newly certified paramedic, heroically came to the defense of women in distress, only to pay a very severe price. The assailant, an illegal immigrant known as Majid A, slashed the American’s face and nearly cut off his nose — and was released within hours by police over a supposed lack of evidence. Eventually the police reluctantly re-arrested Majid, and are still searching for a second knife-wielding assailant who was with him at the time of the altercation. Rudat, who suffered a deep gash to the front of his face with a six-inch blade, claimed in an online posting that his attacker was “an immigrant, an illegal one, a drug dealer and very popularly known here, especially by the police.” Rudat also noted that “[t]he problem to me wasn’t anyone’s skin color, wasn’t anyone’s race, wasn’t anybody’s anything. It was the fact that a woman was being harassed and assaulted.” These types of attacks have become tragically routine in Germany and across Western Europe, and are mostly perpetrated by men from Muslim countries who regard European women as immoral infidels who deserve harassment and abuse.Â

Subjected to Years of Lawfare, Christian Baker Refuses to Back Down
Christian businesswoman Cathy Miller is the owner of Tastries Bakery in Bakersfield, California. Her faith informs her that a marriage is comprised of one man and one woman. Because of this belief, she declined to bake a wedding cake for a lesbian couple. To do so, she believed, would contradict her own faith, something she was unwilling to do.
That was in 2017. Both at the time and afterward, she did not view her decision as infringing upon the rights of the lesbian couple, who obviously could have found someone else to bake a wedding cake for them. In fact, Miller even offered to refer the couple to another bakery that would design their cake. But the couple still filed a civil rights complaint against her. The California Department of Civil Rights responded by filing a lawsuit against Miller, and Miller has been fighting the lawsuit in the courts ever since. In the most recent court decision, on May 29 of this year, the California Supreme Court declined to hear the case, letting stand a lower court decision that Miller had violated the civil rights of the lesbian couple.
But Miller refuses to back down. On August 26 she petitioned the U.S. Supreme Court to review the case. The following day, the Becket Fund for Religious Liberty, which is a co-counsel in the case, issued a press release on this latest development. “My love for Jesus Christ calls me to serve others with joy and compassion, and Tastries has been my way of answering that call for over a decade,” the release quoted Miller saying. “I’m asking the Court to end California’s harassment once and for all. All I want is to serve my neighbors as the Gospel of Jesus Christ calls me to without being forced to create messages that violate my beliefs.”
Is Miller’s refusal to design a wedding cake worth nearly a decade-long battle? If she were to cave, what then? That is, where would the line against encroaching tyranny then be drawn? If she can be forced to use her artistic abilities to design a cake violating a deeply held religious belief, could she also be forced to hold up a sign in the public square renouncing the same belief? Could she then be forced to renounce other Christian doctrines, as well? Of course, such issues are not limited to bakers. For examples, could doctors someday be forced to perform abortions in order to continue to practice medicine? And on it goes.
By fighting the good fight since 2017, Miller is fighting for the rights of all of us.

Shanghai Cooperation Organization Meets; India, China, Russia Deepen Ties
The annual summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) wrapped up on September 1, with China and Russia vowing deeper ties, India seeking rapprochement with China, and Xi Jinping, on September 3, showing off the CCP’s growing military might in a colossal parade that commemorated China’s supposed victory over Imperial Japan (an event that no other country, least of all the hated American hegemon, had anything to do with, according to Chinese communist propaganda).Â
The Western press is of course blaming India’s defection on the Trump tariffs, and, indeed, the fact that Trump chose to impose 50 percent tariffs on a friend, India — while still refusing to do the same to China — is very bad optics, to say the least. However, a recent appellate court decision upholding the unconstitutionality of Trump’s presidential tariffs may soon render the entire tariff controversy moot.
The Shanghai Cooperation Organization, like the BRICS organization, is another effort by the world’s authoritarian regimes to create an international organization to rival the likes of the G-7. But to put things in perspective, the three economies of India, China, and Russia combined are less than the U.S. alone; throw in the U.K., Germany, and France, and the Big Three of the SCO dwindle into insignificance. Add to that the fact that most of China’s economic growth is fueled by exports to the United States and Europe, and investment by those places in China, and the economic asymmetry is plain to see. For the bloc to pose a credible challenge, China would have to jettison central planning and embrace free-market capitalism. Which is not happening anytime soon.
On Wednesday, China staged a massive military parade, a separate event from the SCO, but one which Putin stuck around to watch. North Korea’s Kim Jong-Un was also on the stand. As usual, China put on an impressive pageant, and rolled out lots of intimidating-looking new military hardware. But parades and pageantry are one thing; actual performance in combat is something else. The recent collision of two Chinese military vessels in the South China Sea while harassing a Philippine Coast Guard cutter shows that it’s one thing to build ships and other complex machines, but another to know how to use them effectively.Â
President Trump does seem to be finally waking to the reality that neither Xi, nor Putin, nor Kim Jong-Un are his or America’s friends. In a post on Truth Social on September 2, Trump noted:
The big question to be answered is whether or not President Xi of China will mention the massive amount of support and “blood” that the United States of America gave to China in order to help it secure its FREEDOM from a very unfriendly foreign invader. Many Americans died in China’s quest for Victory and Glory. I hope that they are rightfully Honored and Remembered for their Bravery and Sacrifice! May President Xi and the wonderful people of China have a great and lasting day of celebration. Please give my warmest regards to Vladimir Putin, and Kim Jong Un, as you conspire against the United States of America.
You read that right: President Trump actually used the “C” word! Left unsaid was that one of those Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice in defending China was one John Birch, a young Baptist missionary who volunteered for the military in China. Although he risked his life carrying out reconnaissance and espionage behind Japanese lines, Birch did not die at the hands of the Japanese. In fact, he did not technically even die in World War II. He was murdered by Chinese communist bandits 10 days after the war’s end, when, as part of the postwar occupying power, he came across communist saboteurs working to destroy railway and telegraph lines. The communists had little interest in the Japanese; their target was the legitimate government of China, and the end of World War II was for them just a new beginning, during which they elevated the civil war to new levels. Rather than gratitude for American help in liberating China from the Japanese, the communists turned on Birch and his detail with characteristic savagery, and John Birch became the first American casualty of the Cold War. But neither Trump nor Xi mentioned any of this inconvenient history, nor how the murder of John Birch was deliberately covered up by the U.S. government to avoid casting Mao and his “agrarian reformers” in any negative light. The Chinese communists, then and now, regarded America as their implacable enemy. So don’t expect any acknowledgement by Xi of America’s sacrifices for China in the past. — Steve Bonta
Trump: Congress to Consider “Comprehensive Crime Bill”
Last week, President Donald Trump announced on Truth Social that Republican congressional leaders would consider a “Comprehensive Crime Bill.” Trump wrote:
Speaker Mike Johnson, and Leader John Thune, are working with me, and other Republicans, on a Comprehensive Crime Bill. It’s what our Country needs, and NOW! More to follow. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!
This development comes as the Trump administration has responded to crime in multiple U.S. cities. The New York Times reported August 27:
In June, Mr. Trump deployed National Guard troops to Los Angeles, saying that they had been sent to accompany federal law enforcement officers on immigration raids and to protect federal buildings from protesters….
Earlier this month [August], Mr. Trump turned his attention to crime in Washington, D.C., by federalizing the local police force and deploying National Guard troops on the city’s streets….
On Monday, he signed an executive order directing the Defense Department to expand its role in domestic law enforcement and creating new National Guard units trained for “ensuring the public safety and order” in Washington and all 50 states. He said on Tuesday that his administration would seek the death penalty for all murder cases in Washington.
Mr. Trump has also suggested expanding the deployments to other cities, particularly Democratic strongholds, saying that crime there is out of control. He said last week that he planned to target Chicago and New York for his next federal crackdown on crime.
Although a “Comprehensive Crime Bill” may sound like a welcome relief for city residents, it carries significant risks, and threatens to increase federal involvement in law enforcement.
Nowhere does the U.S. Constitution authorize the federal government to engage in or regulate law enforcement. In The Federalist, No. 45, James Madison declared, “The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined.” Furthermore, as the 10th Amendment affirms, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
Furthermore, as The New American has previously reported, rising crime rates — and the inevitable response by the federal government — are part of the communist playbook for undermining local police and strengthening federal control.
Rather than passing a federal crime bill, Congress should follow the Constitution by repealing every existing federal law-enforcement program or law.Â

Florida to “End All Vaccine Mandates”
Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo announced on Wednesday that the state will work to repeal every existing vaccine mandate. The Epoch Times reports:
“The Florida Department of Health, in partnership with the governor, is going to be working to end all vaccine mandates in Florida law,” he said at a press conference. “All of them.”
“Every last one is wrong and drips with disdain and slavery,” Ladapo said….
The surgeon general reiterated that neither he nor the government had the right to force vaccines upon people and urged those listening to take that power away from the government and make their own informed decisions.
He then said that the Florida Department of Health was able to start the process by striking down rules established by his predecessors that mandated several vaccines, and then his department would work with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and the state’s lawmakers to eliminate the rest of the mandates.
This announcement is a good step toward restoring medical freedom, a principle that has been eroded in recent decades — and especially during Covid-19 in 2020 and 2021.
The Declaration of Independence, which proclaims that “all men … are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights,” notes that “to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men.” By restoring individuals’ right to choose what they inject into their bodies, Florida’s actions would bring the state into greater adherence to the principles expressed in the Declaration.
Urge your state legislatures to restore medical freedom by repealing all medical mandates, including vaccine mandates. — Peter Rykowski
Pro-life Pregnancy Center Fights Against Pro-abort Weaponization of the Law
CompassCare, a pro-life pregnancy center with multiple branches in New York State, has launched a petition drive demanding that New York Attorney General Letitia James step down “for illegally weaponizing the justice system against constitutional liberties.” Among other points, the petition states that “AG James has been illicitly abusing NY’s justice system to enforce her extreme social agenda, SLAPPing (Strategic Lawsuit Against Public Participation) those who disagree with her political ideology, such as President Trump and pro-life organizations like non-profit pregnancy centers providing free medical care and support to women facing unplanned pregnancy, with bogus fraud lawsuits for crimes that do not exist in law.”
CompassCare has also gone to court to challenge a state law requiring it to hire pro-abortion employees. On January 2 of this year, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit ruled to reinstate the group’s claim after a judge had dismissed it.
The pregnancy center has also been victimized by vandalism, including a 2022 firebombing.Â

Epstein Victims Consider Releasing Their Own List
The co-sponsors of a bill that would force the government to release all available Jeffrey Epstein documents held an hour-long, open-air press conference in Washington, D.C., on September 3 that included statements from Epstein’s victims. One said that she and others were considering releasing their own list.
“[We] Epstein survivors have been discussing creating our own list,” Lisa Phillips said. “We know the names. Many of us were abused by them. Now, together as survivors, we will confidentially compile the names we all know, who are regularly in the Epstein world. It will be done by survivors, and for survivors. No one else is involved. Stay tuned for more details.”
Phillips spoke near the end of the conference. She was one of nine victims (including deceased victim Virginia Giuffre’s family) to make statements in support of the Epstein Files Transparency Act (EFTA), which would force the House of Representatives to vote on the complete release of everything the government has related to Jeffrey Epstein (with the exception of victim-related redactions).
A few hours after Phillips made those comments, Representative Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), a co-sponsor of EFTA, said he and another legislator would intervene to ensure the victims’ goals are carried out without them incurring massive legal repercussions. Massie said:
Survivors at our press conference announced they are privately compiling their own Epstein list. They would be sued into homelessness for naming names, but [Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.)] and I are willing to name names in the House of Representatives under Constitutional “speech or debate” immunity.
Since Republican leadership has been unwilling to bring the bill up for a vote, EFTA co-sponsors Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) and Massie are circulating a discharge petition to circumvent the House speaker. If they get 218 signatures, they can force a vote. Right now, they are just two short. The petition has signatures from 212 Democrats, but only four Republicans. In addition to Massie, the other Republicans are Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia, Nancy Mace of South Carolina, and Lauren Boebert of Colorado.
Massie argued that despite various Epstein files being released by the government, “that does absolutely nothing.” He said the public receives some information, but it’s information curated by the government. On Tuesday, the House Oversight Committee released more than 33,000 pages of documents related to the Epstein investigation. Massie pointed out that everything the DOJ has released so far is either heavily redacted or information that’s already been made available to the public, which, he says, accounts for 70 percent. The White House is calling Massie’s attempt to have all the Epstein information released a “hostile act,” an indication that it opposes full transparency.
One of the victims’ lawyers, Bradley Edwards, elaborated on why it’s so important that EFTA pass. He said that all the documents and evidence they’ve worked so hard to gather “hide behind protective orders, confidentiality agreements, and bank secrecy laws,” adding:
That is why this discharge petition is so important. While we have seen the documents, you haven’t. And when you see the documents, you’re going to be appalled.
The discharge petition, Edwards added, means that “nothing is off-limits” — from CIA documents, to FBI documents, to financial records. “Everybody knows that … corruption flourishes in secrecy.” He also said that he had filed lawsuits against JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank proving that they “knowingly provided the financial infrastructure for a sex trafficking operation.”
Both the politicians and the victims — or survivors, as they prefer to be called — stressed that this was a nonpartisan issue. Greene said this was something that “Republicans and Democrats should never fight about,” but that it instead “should bring us all together.”
“The only motive for opposing this bill would be to conceal wrongdoing,” one of the victims observed.
Massie, who is being targeted by President Donald Trump in the 2026 primary, took issue with the president calling the Epstein saga a hoax. “This is not a hoax,” he said. “This is real. There are real survivors. There are real victims to this criminal enterprise. And the perpetrators are being protected because they’re rich and powerful and political donors to the Establishment here in Washington, D.C.”
Everyone at the press conference agreed that Epstein was a monster who played a role in the assault of hundreds, if not thousands, of underage girls, and that the only reason there is not more known about him is because he was rich and well-connected. Khanna put it this way:
Americans are asking a very simple question: How is it possible that in the richest, most powerful country in the world there are corrupt special-interest forces, both foreign [and] domestic, that are preventing the release — that have a stranglehold on our government and are preventing the release of the full Epstein files. There is something that is rotten in Washington…. Today we stand with survivors, we stand against Big Money, we stand to protect America’s children. That is really what this is about.
Greene said that she had recently heard that Epstein had ties to other countries, including Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Israel.
The victims’ testimonies were similar. They were approached when they were between 14 and 16 years old. Someone they knew asked if they wanted to make $200 to massage “an old rich guy.” However, they soon found out that they were obligated to give more than a massage. Plus, they were asked to recruit other girls as they had been recruited. Another similarity is that none of those who went to the authorities had success — until attorneys such as Edwards took on their case.
Perhaps alleged victim Courtney Wild summed it up best:
We need transparency. It’s time for us to see beyond the curtain — Why was Jeffrey Epstein so protected? Who is still being protected? And who protected them all? — so the world can understand how Jeffrey was able to abuse so many of us for so long.Â
