Trump Blasts UN, Then Says U.S. “Behind the United Nations 100 Percent”

President Donald Trump did not hold back in his criticism of the United Nations, or in his support for putting America first, when he addressed the UN General Assembly on September 23. In fact, in ways — albeit not in every way — he sounded like a member of The John Birch Society.

For example, regarding “uncontrolled migration,” Trump said:

Not only is the UN not solving the problems it should, too often it’s actually creating new problems for us to solve. The best example is the number one political issue of our time, the crisis of uncontrolled migration. It’s uncontrolled. Your countries are being ruined. The United Nations is funding an assault on Western countries and their borders. In 2024, the UN budgeted $372 million in cash assistance to support an estimated 624,000 migrants journeying into the United States. Think of that: The UN is supporting people that are illegally coming into the United States, and then we have to get them out. The UN also provided food, shelter, transportation, and debit cards to illegal aliens — can you believe that? — on the way to infiltrate our southern border.

Another problem that’s being created is the “green energy scam.” Trump warned regarding both this problem and massive migration:

If you don’t get away from the green energy scam, your country is going to fail. And if you don’t stop people that you’ve never seen before, that you have nothing in common with, your country is going to fail. I’m the President of the United States, but I worry about Europe. I love Europe. I love the people of Europe, and I hate to see it being devastated by energy and immigration. This double-tailed monster destroys everything in its wake, and they cannot let that happen any longer.

Regarding the devastating effects of the globalists’ energy/environmental policies, Trump decried what’s being done “in the name of pretending to stop the global warming hoax,” adding, “The entire globalist concept of asking successful, industrialized nations to inflict pain on themselves and radically disrupt their entire societies must be rejected immediately, and it must be immediate. That’s why in America, I withdrew from the fake Paris Climate Accord.”

In his address, Trump also criticized the UN for what it is not doing. “I ended seven wars, dealt with the leaders of each and every one of these countries, and never even received a phone call from the United Nations offering to help in finalizing the deal,” Trump said. “All I got from the United Nations was an escalator that on the way up stopped right in the middle,” a reference to the mishap he and the first lady experienced on their way to the General Assembly.

Trump asked rhetorically, “What is the purpose of the United Nations?” The UN “has such tremendous, tremendous potential, but it’s not even coming close to living up to that potential.” Trump added, “For the most part, at least for now, all they seem to do is write a really strongly worded letter and then never follow that letter up. It’s empty words and empty words don’t solve war.”

Here, of course, Trump does not sound like a John Birch Society member. And he sounded even less like a Bircher when, after his speech, he told UN Secretary-General António Guterres, “Our country is behind the United Nations 100 percent…. I may disagree with it sometimes, but I am so behind it because I think the potential for peace at this institution is so great.”

Of course, constitutionally minded Americans sometimes find themselves disagreeing with Trump.

Trump asked what the purpose of the UN is. The John Birch Society has long warned that the purpose the UN founders intended it for was to create a one-world government, and that the UN would use this power to impose global tyranny, not safeguard world peace. When this is understood, it should be clear that a toothless UN uttering “empty words” is better than a UN that can impose its dictates on the world’s nations, including the United States. But best of all is to “Get US Out!” of the UN. In fact, to protect American independence and freedom, this must be done, as the JBS has long advocated.

Argentina Update

Is Argentina’s political and economic turnaround coming to an end? Following last month’s shocking electoral repudiation of libertarian president Javier Milei’s free market reforms in Buenos Aires province, it is looking more and more like Argentines are ready to return to the Peronist devil they know in next month’s nationwide midterm polls. In response, international capital is now fleeing the country and the value of the peso has dropped precipitously. Foreign investors are understandably spooked at the prospect of a return to hyperinflation, defaults, and steep bureaucratic barriers to capital formation. Reacting to Milei’s plight, the Trump administration is pledging to help Milei shore up his economy. U.S. Commerce Secretary Scott Bessent posted on social media that Argentina is “a systematically important U.S. ally in Latin America,” and that “all options for stabilization [of Argentine markets] are on the table.” Bessent seems to be contemplating some type of 1990s-style use of the Exchange Stabilization Fund (as President Clinton notoriously did to prop up the Mexican peso), since he is apparently pushing for a $20 billion currency swap to come to Argentina’s rescue. It bears pointing out that, while we at The New American certainly wish Milei and Argentina well in shaking off the shackles of socialism, our well-wishing stops short of advocacy for any type of foreign aid, including currency swaps and loan guarantees of the sort that Clinton lavished on Mexico in 1995.

The stunning turn of fortunes for Milei is baffling for many observers, given that Argentines have had decades of economic and social turmoil from the collectivist policies of the Peronist establishment. Surely they are enjoying their new freedoms and economic growth, and are cognizant of what will happen if the Peronists stage a triumphant return! In many ways, the Argentine story is a saga about human nature, and why it is that many people truly do not desire to be free, in the full republican sense embraced by America’s Founders. Almost everyone wants to be free of restraint, but many people, once apprised of the two R’s of liberty — risk and responsibility — conclude that they prefer the calm of despotism, or collectivism, or any other political scheme that relieves them of the need to take a chance and accept the consequences. Thus collectivized healthcare is inefficient and impersonal — but at least it’s guaranteed, eventually. Collectivized, centrally planned business is stagnant — but at least the results are predictable, in stark contrast to the tempestuous free market, where innovation and the unexpected are the norms. And collectivized law enforcement, i.e., a police state, stifles individual liberty and terrorizes dissenters — but at least the streets are safe. And so on. Once a people become used to the predictability of collective despotism, only very seldom do they relinquish its guarantees. Americans, by the way, are little better; for all of the appeal of MAGA, how much of the New Deal or the Great Society — or even ObamaCare — stands to be repealed? Trump himself continues to tout Social Security, Medicare, and the like as great programs in need of reform, not unconstitutional collectivist monstrosities that need to be wound down.

So, fingers crossed for Milei and his bold experiment in liberty. But we’re not holding our breath for its long-range prospects. — Steve Bonta

Social Media Spreads “Vile Claim” About Erika Kirk Hand Gesture

In the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s memorial service on Sunday, a claim that his widow, Erika Kirk, made a “devil horn” hand gesture is circulating on social media. The Daily Mail reports:

People on social media are bizarrely accusing Erika Kirk of making the ‘devil horn’ symbol with her hand during her husband’s memorial service in Arizona on Sunday.

Charlie Kirk’s grieving widow made a hand gesture, which means ‘I love you’ in sign language, while on stage beside President Donald Trump at his memorial.

After making a speech in tribute to her late husband, Kirk, 36, who is a devout Christian, raised her arm with her index and pinky fingers raised. 

Some people online have made the vile claim that this was a ‘satanic hand symbol’ intended to evoke devil horns in unhinged social media posts which have gone viral.

The Daily Mail article lists multiple examples of these claims. Additionally, claims about Kirk having cultic “Saturn glyph” marks on her hands have spread across social media. 

These claims illustrate the need for discernment — in particular, not believing everything that circulates on social media. As the Daily Mail noted, Erika Kirk’s hand gesture means “I love you” in sign language. Additionally, the photos alleging to show “Saturn glyph” marks on her hands are too blurry — and the alleged marks too abstract — to make out anything definite. Flashing the “devil horn” has indeed become a ubiquitous hand gesture among the glitterati for decades, and it looks similar to the sign-language “love” gesture. However, they are distinctly different. In the “devil horn” the thumb is tucked into the palm beneath the two middle fingers, whereas, in the “love” sign, the thumb is extended outward.

And what do we know? Erika Kirk is a devout Christian, raised Catholic and currently a practicing evangelical, who is pursuing a biblical-studies doctorate at Liberty University. The memorial service on Sunday, which Kirk certainly had a hand in organizing, featured multiple clear presentations of the Gospel.

Although social media has helped Americanists and constitutionalists bypass the mainstream media and more effectively disseminate our worldview, it is also susceptible to spreading tangents and speculation, which distract from the principles we are working to defend and the actual conspiracy we are fighting against. The claims about Erika Kirk illustrate this reality.

ICYMI: The Jezebel-Etsy Witch Curse on Charlie Kirk

In case you missed it: The celebratory hate spewed across the legacy media/social-media ecosphere in the wake of the Charlie Kirk assassination was a shocking reveal of the depths of depravity of a wide swath of the left-wing populace. The approval and delight over his death expressed by the “tolerance” and “kindness” folks is a shocking wake-up call and a warning of the potential for more deranged political violence ahead. But, for sheer evil, the Jezebel.com hiring of a witch to cast a curse on Kirk wins the prize. On September 8, two days before Kirk was murdered, Jezebel ran a story titled “We Paid Some Etsy Witches to Curse Charlie Kirk.” 

The story was taken down by Jezebel following the assassination — and following a massive backlash against the website. In response, Jezebel editors stated:

On Monday, September 8, we published the humorous piece titled “We Paid Some Etsy Witches to Curse Charlie Kirk.” The piece was intended as satire and made it absolutely clear that we wished no physical harm. We stand by every word. But in light of Wednesday’s events, and on the recommendation of our lawyers, we have removed the text.

The author, whose name has not been revealed, begins the article by taunting, “If the far-right misogynist with a bad haircut wants to villainize independent women, Jezebel is more than happy to be the hag of his nightmares.”

“I can now buy a curse as easily as I can buy a phone charger,” says the writer, noting that “on the mystical website Etsy, you can find a spell for just about anything.” “These days, witches cater to more than just personal grudges. And it’s not uncommon for them to channel their energy toward thwarting Republicans,” the article continues. It goes on: “Are you interested in punishing Kirk for the years of regressive rhetoric he’s shouted at America’s youth and anyone within earshot? Here at Jezebel, we’re about to find out if there’s a spell for that.”

The British news website METRO reported:

The author of the story purchased several spells from different witches, including a ‘MAKE EVERYONE HATE HIM’ spell, a ‘POWERFUL HEX SPELL’, and another hex from another witch called ‘Priestess Lilin’ who reportedly sent a video of Mr. Kirk’s picture being set on fire.

The METRO story included an exclusive statement it had obtained from Priestess Lilin, who said:

I would like to say first off that a person’s life and death always has weight, and we do not celebrate the loss of life.

With that said, throughout the witchcraft community many of us believe that spells, magic and curses are very real and can bring about profound change in this world, whether it be through psychological or metaphysical means.

As sisters we have dealt and seen things we cannot explain, done things that defy logic, magic is very much real to us.

While we cannot claim literal responsibility for Mr Kirk’s death, we do affirm that the magic we work with is effective.

Priestess Lilin’s dark services are available on Etsy through a website operated by “Strix Sisters Lilin and Leamashtu.” 

Among the hexes the witch duo offer is their “Generational Black Magick Curse,” for the princely sum of $1,300. But, wait! They now have it on sale for $975! The description they provide for this diabolical malediction states: 

Please note: This ritual is not suitable for everyone and we reserve the right to reject and refund any request we deem unsuitable as this is spiritually potent and has energetically permanent side effects on the target’s whole family and loved ones.

We call upon the Infernal Lords of the Goetia (Daemons) to corrupt the target’s bloodline, affecting the target’s living family members, loved ones, and future descendants down the line. Any potential lover or friend that tries to remotely get close to them will feel the same spiritual effects and be energetically repelled to cut ties with the target.

Regardless of what the target has done/or is going to do to deserve the coming decades and even centuries of torment, the curse will release the full scope of “dark magick” to ensure that your will is carried out without mercy.

It should not be surprising that Jezebel would celebrate a curse on Charlie Kirk — or any other prominent figure of the hated “patriarchy” that the website regularly bashes. They also obsess over transgenderism, drag queens, and everything pro-abortion and pro-LGBTQLMNOP+++. The Strix Sisters Lilin and Leamashtu mentioned above are fit comrades for the Jezebel crew. Strix is a genus of owls in the Strigidae owl family. However, in mythology, the Strix were demonic owl-like creatures that disemboweled infants and fed on their flesh and blood. “Lilin” is the plural for Lilith. So, it would seem that the witch who identifies as Lilin is saying she is possessed by many demons, as in the Gospels where Jesus Christ was curing the demoniac and was told by those being cast out, “My name is Legion, for we are many.” Leamashtu (also spelled Lamashtu) is also a frightful demoness associated with feeding on the blood of human infants. Of course, Jezebel is generally recognized as the most wicked woman in the Bible. Among the most iniquitous of her actions was her promotion of Baal worship, which included the ritual murder and sacrifice of children. Apart from the Charlie Kirk curse, this self-identification and association with witchcraft, demonology, abortion, and the murder of infants should be sufficient to alert even the most naïve dullard that the Jezebel gals are truly evil “hags” (their word).

The far-left feminist/lesbian website originally launched in 2007 with the tagline “Jezebel — Celebrity, Sex, Fashion for Women. Without Airbrushing.” Its current tagline, following its 2023 relaunch, is “Still here. Still Without Airbrushing. Still With Teeth.” Perhaps they should adjust it to a more accurate tagline, such as: “Still Demonic. Still Without Decency. Still With Fangs.” 

The hags of Jezebel may have hardened hearts, but Charlie Kirk would be the first to point out that the grace of Jesus Christ can touch even the most wayward of souls. What’s With Etsy? Charlie Kirk Curses, Witches, Baphomet, Pentagrams, and More!

If you’re a fan of the e-commerce site Etsy.com for your craft supplies and vintage items, you may want to consider shopping elsewhere, especially if you’re a Christian. The popular website has a very dark side that is probably unknown to most of its customers who are looking for collectibles, clothing, toys, jewelry, purses, furniture, and other ordinary products. But then there are the less-than-ordinary and very troubling products and “services” that were largely unknown until brought to broad public attention by the assassination of Charlie Kirk. As noted in our story posted above, the radical feminist-lesbian website Jezebel.com carried an article two days before he was shot announcing that they had bought curses from witches on Etsy to hex Charlie Kirk. 

Having heard of Etsy but having never visited the site, we decided to check it out. The home page looks pretty harmless: collectible bottles, gift cards, lamps, home décor items, earrings, bracelets, lipstick, cross pendant, and the like. But type “Hexes” into the search engine and whoa, a whole new dark universe opens up. Ditto on searches for “curses,” “pentagram,” “Baphomet,” “Lucifer,” “Baal,” “devil,” “demons,” “succubus,” “witches,” “sex,” “vampires,” “cannibalism,” and everything hellish. Page after page. Hundreds (more likely, thousands — I didn’t count) of grotesque entries.

Here are a few of the Etsy entries:

“100 K Legion of Algol: Extreme Spiritual attack. Crush Your Enemy. The Most Comprehensive Army of Offensive Attack”

“CURSES & HEXES of the Black Coven: HUGE selection of Revenge and Retribution Spells…. The Devil-Damn-Thee-All Curse, used to Destroy a Relationship…. The Hex of Nine Knots, Used to Cause Another to Lose All Their Personal Assets.” 

“A Hellish Hex — A curse from the Pit — Get revenge! Make Them Pay. Stones and Bones Magic.”

And hundreds (thousands?) more. 

We emailed Etsy’s corporate press office requesting a statement on company’s curse services and seeming obsession with all things demonic, especially considering the Charlie Kirk murder. We received no reply by the time this report went to press. One does not have to believe that the witch’s curse performed for Jezebel caused the shooter to assassinate Charlie to see that promoting this type of aggressive hate will lead to increased polarization — and may lead those who are most unstable and impressionable to engage in violence. Recommendation: Dump Etsy, if you’re using it. Instead, try Hobby Lobby, a courageous Christian store, for your crafts, hobbies, home décor, fabrics, sewing, etc. And let Etsy’s corporate office know that you will not be patronizing their occult portal. — William F. Jimmy Kimmel’s Leftist Echo Chamber Returns

Jimmy Kimmel’s brief suspension and sudden return to ABC’s late-night lineup exemplify the entrenched leftist bias within the globalist regime media. Kimmel, host of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, was suspended from the air on September 17, 2025, following inflammatory and false statements about the political assassination of Charlie Kirk. In a September 15 episode, Kimmel suggested the assassin was right-wing, and “one of them,” referring to the “MAGA gang.”

The remarks received backlash from conservatives, prompting ABC to suspend the show indefinitely, highlighting tensions between leftist corporate media and conservative audiences often ignored by the Hollywood echo chamber.

An ACLU petition to “Defend Free Speech,” signed by more than 400 Hollywood celebrities, condemned ABC’s decision and falsely claimed Kimmel’s suspension was unconstitutional government censorship. ACLU spokesperson Christopher Anders blamed the Trump administration and FCC Chairman Brendan Carr in a press release.

The suspension lasted only six days, with Kimmel returning on September 23 after leftist “free-speech” outrage. Leftists celebrated the return as a “free-speech” victory while downplaying conservative concerns regarding violent and dehumanizing rhetoric. ABC’s reversal exposes the Left’s disproportionate control over media narratives.

Although ABC reversed course, Kimmel’s return is partial, with major affiliate groups Nexstar and Sinclair continuing to preempt the show. The two media groups, which combined own or control programming on 23 percent of ABC stations, said they will be preempting the Kimmel show with local news broadcasts. Nexstar stated in a press release:

We made a decision last week to preempt “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” following what ABC referred to as Mr. Kimmel’s “ill-timed and insensitive” comments at a critical time in our national discourse. We stand by that decision pending assurance that all parties are committed to fostering an environment of respectful, constructive dialogue in the markets we serve.

A NewsBusters study revealed Kimmel’s show is overwhelmingly partisan: 92 percent of 7,797 political jokes since January 2023 targeted conservatives, with 97 percent of political guests being liberals since September 2022. Kimmel’s program is just one example among numerous network television shows exhibiting pervasive left-wing bias in the globalist mainstream media echo chamber.

This response illustrates the Left’s bias, hypocrisy, and distorted interpretation of constitutionally protected rights. After years of censoring and de-platforming opponents, the globalist media’s double standard fiercely defends the “free-speech” of favored media figures when they attack political opposition, no matter how repulsive and egregious the lie. Kimmel and the other shielded progressives continue to thrive in insulated bubbles, facing no long-term consequences for the deadly political climate they’ve created. — David DeRidder

Trump Reposts Article Promoting Convention of States

On Monday, President Donald Trump reposted an article promoting Convention of States (COS), an organization pushing for a federal constitutional convention under Article V to open the U.S. Constitution to potentially far-reaching changes, on his Truth Social account.

Trump reposted the article without comment. Although the article title claimed a “surge” in COS’s efforts, the organization has failed to pass its model resolution in any states over the last three years, minus Texas, which simply reauthorized an existing COS convention application.

Nonetheless, the risk of a federal constitutional convention radically rewriting the Constitution is real. For example, nothing in Article V of the Constitution prevents a potential runaway convention from happening. Additionally, both a 2016 and 2023 simulated “Convention of States” (hosted by the COS organization) resulted in amendments massively increasing the size of the federal government and expanding its spending powers, despite virtually all its “delegates” being Republican state legislators.

Importantly, the U.S. Constitution is not responsible for the federal government’s current overreach. To the contrary, the federal government has grown enormously because our political leaders have blatantly ignored the Constitution’s clear limits on federal power.

It’s imperative that we contact our state legislators about the dangers of an Article V constitutional convention and promote real solutions — i.e., nullification — for reining in federal usurpations. Put these powerful tools to use now and in the coming months to build resistance to the Con-Con. Forty-two of the 50 state legislatures are now not in session, meaning that many legislators are back in their districts where you have a better chance of contacting them, having a meeting with them, or communicating with them in public at town hall meetings. House Oversight Hearings Expose Biden’s Puppet Presidency

The House Oversight Committee’s investigation into former President Joe Biden’s administration has exposed the biggest political scandal in modern history. Unelected White House bureaucrats conspired to conceal Biden’s cognitive decline, hijack the presidency, and cede executive power to Deep State handlers.  

Chairman James Comer (R-Ky.) and Oversight Republicans questioned several members of the Biden administration, including former White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, former White House Chief of Staff Jeff Zients, and others during their investigation.

During a House Oversight Committee interview, Zients admitted that Biden’s memory “worsened over time,” and said he urged Kevin O’Connor, the former physician to the president, to perform a full cognitive exam after Biden’s June 27, 2024 presidential debate disaster.

In July, O’Connor and Anthony Bernal, the former chief of staff to the first lady, invoked their Fifth Amendment rights, refusing to answer Oversight Committee questioning on Biden’s cognitive state and the use of an autopen.

Additionally, the puppet presidency scandal escalated with revelations that Zients approved illegal autopen abuse, writing to White House aides, “I approve the use of the autopen for the execution of all of the following pardons,” approving last-minute pardons on January 19, 2025, including preemptive pardons for Dr. Anthony Fauci, Hunter Biden, James Biden, and other Biden family members.

Globalist media sources such as ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS have buried this story, with NBC and PBS allotting only five minutes and 50 seconds from June to September 2025, and ABC and CBS providing zero coverage of the Oversight Committee hearings, effectively covering up the allegations that a cognitively impaired president was manipulated by handlers.

After years of inflammatory rhetoric from Democrats claiming that their opponents “threaten our democracy,” Republicans must continue to expose this corruption and hypocrisy.
