UN Report Attacks U.S. on Education & Demands Globalized Control

American education is not federalized enough, and efforts to protect children from gender and racial propaganda must end to comply with “international law” and “human rights.” That was the message of the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Right to Education Farida Shaheed following an investigation of schooling in the United States released in June.

Blasting Trump’s efforts to shut down or at least reduce the power of the U.S. Department of Education, the UN bureaucrat claimed they would hurt low-income students, weaken “civil rights,” disrupt “higher learning,” and produce other alleged horrors.

“The loss of federal oversight could deepen inequities, harm marginalized students and undermine social mobility,” argued Shaheed, a radical Pakistani activist.

States including Florida and Texas were singled out for passing laws trying to protect students — especially young students — from indoctrination with Marxist-inspired critical race theory; LGBT propaganda; diversity, equity, and inclusion; gender ideology; and sexually explicit material.

Shaheed claimed the laws produce a “chilling effect” undermining “inclusive education” — a euphemism for “sex education,” racial collectivism, and gender propaganda. “Censorship laws restricting classroom discussions on race, gender identity and other ‘divisive concepts’ limit students’ access to critical knowledge,” she claimed.

In an interview she did last year with the UN’s education agency UNESCO, Shaheed brazenly called for governments to control what is taught. Governments must ensure “that standards are outlined that all private sector providers must adhere to in accordance with the right to quality education.”

Ultimately, education must teach children to become so-called sustainable global citizens, UN leaders and agreements have been saying openly since at least the 1990s. Agenda 21 and the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) both state that clearly.

Among the most alarming demands by the UN rapporteur: redefine education. “The Special Rapporteur strongly encourages the federal Government and all States to consider expressly recognizing education as a fundamental human right for everyone,” Shaheed said.

The implications of this redefinition of education as a UN-granted human right are enormous. Consider Article 26 of the controversial UN “Universal Declaration of Human Rights,” the organization’s foundational “human rights” document. It states clearly that education must be “compulsory” and that it “shall further the activities of the United Nations.”

Another major call in Shaheed’s report is for federal-level reforms such as ratifying and complying with more international treaties. In her comments to UNESCO, Shaheed also claimed the “evolving right to education” means reinterpreting and developing even more treaties, “international jurisprudence,” and “soft law instruments” at the global level.

Epstein, Epstein, Epstein: No, You Can’t Disappear This Case That Easily!

Backlash is too mild a word for the response from MAGA-land to the Trump DOJ/FBI Epstein announcements. First, we were told sex-trafficker Jeffrey Epstein killed himself. Now we’re told there is no “client list.” It sure looks like a Leslie Nielsen “Nothing to see here, move along,” moment.

But many of Donald Trump’s biggest supporters and social-media influencers are not moving along. They are not just fine with the pronouncements by President Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino that it’s time to close the Epstein case. Tucker Carlson, Glenn Beck, Jack Posobiec, Elon Musk, Patrick Bet-David, Benny Johnson, Laura Loomer, and Robby Starbuck are among the host of MAGA influencers who smell a coverup — and with good reason. Many are denouncing this as a “betrayal” and a “sellout.” For the past six years — since Epstein’s jailhouse death in 2019 — Trump, Patel, and Bongino repeatedly demanded release of the Epstein files and accused the Biden DOJ/FBI of a coverup in the matter. Pam Bondi insisted that, on her watch, the files would be forthcoming. So, what has changed?

As we have extensively reported, Jeffrey Epstein’s high-flying life with “the great and the good” of global politics, finance, philanthropy, academia, and scientific research pointed to his role as a key Deep State operative, collecting sexual kompromat on those in positions of power. The entire series of mysterious circumstances concerning his convenient death before he could finger any of the power elite who shared in the sexcapades with underage girls at his New York mansion and his Caribbean island getaway makes his demise A white and blue sign with blue text

“There is plenty of evidence and info not pertaining to CSAM/victims that DOJ leadership can authorize the @FBIDirectorKash and @FBIDDBongino to release,” Luna said. “The @FBI cannot release anything without @TheJusticeDept authorization,” she continued. “The Taskforce and all of its members will be asking for that on behalf of the American people.”

Representative Warren Davidson (R-Ohio) wrote on X that “even after Pam Bondi resigns or is fired,” the issues with the Epstein files “won’t go away.” Nor should they go away. Blackmail and extortion of financial and political powerbrokers undoubtedly are at the root of much of the subversion, corruption, and destruction of our country that are so evident all around us.

Intel Asset Jeffrey Epstein and the Deep State Oligarchs

Tech billionaire and former Trump ally Elon Musk famously tweeted on X in June: “Time to drop the really big bomb: @realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That is the real reason they have not been made public. Have a nice day, DJT!” The political provocateur and Tesla CEO later deleted the post. If Musk knows something not already in the public record, he has not revealed it. Was he merely venting more anger over his dispute over spending in Trump’s One Big Beautiful Bill? Who knows? Although Trump has admitted associating with Epstein in the 1990s and flying on his jet between New York and Florida, no evidence has surfaced indicating he ever went to Epstein’s pleasure dome on Little St. James Island. If such evidence did indeed exist, we can be sure that it would have already been used in the non-stop lawfare campaigns and smear campaigns against him. More likely, as in the case of many other rich and famous individuals whom Epstein courted, Trump was a target whom Epstein was sure to be photographed with in order to burnish the “Epstein mystique” and facilitate his access to additional influential targets of opportunity.

As we have reported previously, former U.S. Attorney Alex Acosta stated that the sweetheart deal he gave Epstein in 2008 had been ordered by the George W. Bush Justice Department. According to Acosta, “I was told Epstein ‘belonged to intelligence’ and to leave it alone.” This was widely reported, but our “Mockingbird Media” controlled by the Deep State oligarchy was curiously incurious about looking into the matter. The obvious question was (and is) which intelligence agency or agencies did Epstein “belong” to? As we pointed out here, there is good evidence linking him to the CIA, Israeli Mossad, British MI6, and Soviet KGB/FSB. That’s a pretty damning résumé; it’s understandable that plenty of powerful people would want to silence him — and would go to great lengths to keep his secrets in the grave. — William F. Jasper

Federal Appeals Court Blocks Texas Law Banning Illegal Migration

Last week, in a 2-1 ruling, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a lower-court block on Texas Senate Bill 4, a 2023 law criminalizing illegal migration.

In the majority opinion, Judge Priscilla Richman wrote, “For nearly 150 years, the Supreme Court has recognized that the power to control immigration — the entry, admission, and removal of aliens — is exclusively a federal power.” (Emphasis in original.)

In reality, the opposite is true. Nowhere does the U.S. Constitution grant the federal government authority over immigration — only naturalization. Authority over immigration resides with the states. In a dissenting opinion, Judge Andrew Oldham correctly noted, “Today’s majority usurps the State of Texas’s sovereign right to police its border and to battle illegal immigration.”

States should not only reassert their sovereign authority over immigration, but nullify unconstitutional federal-court rulings that seek to usurp state sovereignty.          — Peter Rykowski

One Big Beautiful Bill Act: Environmental Provisions

At nearly 900 pages, the so-called One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA) contains a wide range of provisions — and on the environmental front, it is a mixed bag. On one hand, it rolls back many of the pro-environmentalist funding and tax credits enacted in the 2022 Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) — and the rigging of the U.S. economy in favor of the radical climate-change agenda that went with it. These provisions include defunding the Climate Pollution Reduction Grants (CPRG) program that The New American previously reported on.

On the other hand, the OBBBA only partially repeals the IRA, and the repeals will take effect gradually, reducing the level of savings.

Additionally, the OBBA contains pro-carbon-capture provisions. For example, it expands the 45Q tax credit, despite calls from state legislators to repeal it, and implements potentially advantageous taxation rules for publicly traded carbon-capture companies. Additionally, the bill extends the Clean Fuel Production Credit, which benefits biofuels such as ethanol, which has played a role in advancing carbon capture.

Contact your U.S. representative and senators, and urge them to rein in the federal government within its constitutional boundaries — including by eliminating its involvement in energy and environmental policies.         — Peter Rykowski
