Biden’s Parole Pipeline Exposes the Extent of White House Deception

The Biden administration and its allies in the media are deliberately misleading the public about the current state of immigration policy in the United States, while continuing their plan to dramatically remake America.

Since the beginning of the year, much of the media has been celebrating the administration’s supposed “crackdown” on illegal immigration, pointing to purported declines in the number of illegal aliens crossing the southern border. Team Biden and anti-borders activists who pose as reporters are having a “mission accomplished” moment at the border, proclaiming that all is now well after two years of record illegal crossings. But, all is not well. In fact, it would be a stretch to consider recent developments at the border to be even a modest improvement.

Sure, the number of official illegal crossings are down, but the number of people continuing to take advantage of the Biden administration’s anti-border policies are not. In an attempt to defuse political backlash, the administration has engaged in dishonest shell games at the border for months, funneling a record number of aliens into the country through the creation of a Customs and Border Protection app called “CBP One.”

What’s more, the Biden administration has imported more than half a million aliens into the country as part of its parole program, according to a recent report from CBS News. Unsurprisingly, the CBS report lauds the administration for what it calls a “historic expansion” of legal immigration, a laughably erroneous way to describe the administration’s abuse of the parole program.

Much like the more than five million illegal aliens who have entered the country through the southern border since Joe Biden took office, the vast majority of aliens being released through the parole program do not have legitimate asylum claims, and do not have any reason to be fast-tracked into the United States.

As the Immigration Reform Law Institute made clear in a recent brief to the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, parole must be granted on a case-by-case basis for “urgent humanitarian reasons,” or “significant public benefit,” neither of which applies to the way the administration is currently employing the program. What the Biden administration has done through the use of the parole program and CBP One app is resettle historic numbers of foreign nationals into the country while avoiding negative headlines.

Indeed, more than 80 percent of aliens released into the United States under the parole program have not been issued court summons, according to a report from The Washington Times. This is no way for the most powerful nation in the world to conduct immigration policy. The administration has not taken steps to reduce illegal immigration, but has simply found more creative ways to encourage it. This may be a stroke of political genius for a president looking to boost his moribund job approval polls in the middle of a reelection campaign, but it is also a grave abuse of power.

Ever since taking office, Biden and his team have been seeking ways to import as many foreign nationals into the United States as possible, disregarding the nation’s laws and sovereignty in order to do so. This administration is filled with anti-borders ideologues, whose goal is to overwhelm our immigration system for their party’s political benefit. Through abuse of the parole program, the administration has been able to artificially lower the number of illegal border crossings, while still resettling historic numbers of unvetted aliens. They know they can count on useful reporters in the corporate media to blast out headlines about the decline in illegal crossings, while still fulfilling the dreams of the anti-borders lobby.

They have all the tools they need at their disposal to end this crisis, but have focused instead on misleading the public about the true nature of their policies. More illegal aliens are still entering the United States than ever before, they are just entering in different ways. The Biden administration’s illegal use of the parole program is one of the greatest frauds perpetuated against the public by the executive branch in American history. It is up to Congress and the courts to put an end to this deception.
