Biden Brain Locks Again. Forgets Aussie PM’s name.

President Biden offered more evidence yesterday that he simply can’t do his job.

Embarrassingly, Biden forgot the name of Australia’s Prime Minister Scott Morrison during remarks announcing the creation of the Australia-United Kingdom-United States security pact.

Biden called Morrison “pal,” and “fella.” The usual ridicule followed on Twitter.

“He’s not up to the job,” British politician Nigel Farage said.

But Biden has never been up to the job. Anyone can forget a name, but Biden’s spaced-out verbal gaffes and bizarre comments are part of a pattern and clear signs of dementia.

The Gaffe

Biden spoke from the White House to Morrison and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson about AUKUS, the new alliance meant to counter the growing Chinese menace in the Pacific.

The alliance will provide Australia with its first nuclear-powered submarines.

“Only a handful of countries possess nuclear-powered submarines, and it is a momentous decision for any nation to acquire this formidable capability and, perhaps, equally momentous, for any other state to come to its aid,” Johnson said in closing. “But Australia is one of our oldest friends, a kindred nation and a fellow democracy, and a natural partner in this enterprise.”

Then the British leader, who can recite lengthy passages of Homer’s Iliad in ancient Greek from memory, turned it over to Biden, who can’t remember what day of the week it is in English.

“Thank you, Boris,” Biden replied:

And I want to thank that fellow down under.  Thank you very much, pal.  Appreciate it, Mr. Prime Minister.

The least he could have done is call him “mate,” but in any event those remarks, not the new anti-Sino alliance, became the news.

Reaction
Twitter hilarity ensued.

“Joe Biden is just an old duffer, he’s not up to the job,” Farage tweeted.

“It’s moments like these,” Matt Sanderson tweeted. An attached photo had Johnson reminding Biden that his Netflix password was “Scotty,” Morrison’s nickname.

“US President Joe Biden made Australians cringe when he forgot their Prime Minister’s name then referred to him as ‘that fellow Down Under,’” came another.

However amusing the latest gaffe, the matter is deadly serious. This wasn’t just another senior moment for the president. POTUS 46 clearly has dementia. And he has shown signs of it since before the election.

Yesterday’s event was at 5:01 p.m., about the time of day when dementia and Alzheimer’s patients start sundowning, the term to describe their late-in-the-day confusion, forgetfulness, aggression, and disorientation.

In late July, as The New American reported, he recalled his days driving an 18-wheel tractor-trailer, something he had never done. White House officials scrambled to come up with an explanation: Biden was a passenger in one many years ago.

A few days before that, he walked up to reporters outside the White House and said what appeared to sound like “my butt’s been wiped.” And during a town hall with CNN’s leftist talker Don Lemon, a pro-Biden homosexual, he ambled into the woods while discussing vaccines for the China Virus.

Biden mentioned the “man on the moon” and “whether those aliens are here or not” after he asked the clearly uncomfortable host whether he was vaccinated.

And after he was inaugurated and settled down to sign dozens of executive orders, Biden said what sounded like “I don’t know what I’m signing.”

Yet these lapses of late are nothing new. Even hate-Trump, pro-Biden Democrats confessed that he was out of it long before the suspicious election in which he defeated President Trump.

“Democrats are conspiring to gaslight the American people by engineering the election of a man clearly suffering from dementia,” Ted Rall wrote for Rasmussen Reports in May 2020:

You don’t need an astronomer to know that the sun rises in the east. If you have encountered dementia, you know Joe Biden has it….

Deliberately casting a vote for someone clearly suffering from dementia, or turning a blind eye to it, or being simply unaware of Biden’s mental state, is inexcusable.

No one who has been close to someone deteriorating from that disease could fail to see the same signs in Joe Biden.
