If you thought Afghan rapists and child molesters were culturally enriching, you’re in for another unexpected treat: 40,000 more Haitians, who helped create the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere, are moving through Mexico on the way to the U.S. border.

That leftist mainstream media seem to have ignored that figure from Breitbart News thus far, but the Camp-of-the-Saints invasion might not be the worst of what the Biden Regime has planned.

Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas issued a new order on September 30 that all but stops deportations, even those of hardened criminals.

Backed by President Joe Biden, Mayorkas has already planted more than 12,000 Haitians in the country. Once the next 40,000 assemble at the border and perhaps break through — or if Mayorkas invites them in — they won’t be deported, either.

Mexico Worried

Mexico can’t or won’t round up and deport them, Breitbart reported.

Citing “high-level officials,” the website warned that only a “small fraction are trying to get documents to stay in Mexico”; the rest have another destination in mind: the border with Texas.

Even worse, more Haitians are headed for Mexico from South America. “The sources estimate 40,000 Haitians have some sort of permit to travel, apart from those entering in a clandestine fashion,” the website reported:

While Mexico’s National Immigration Institute initially tried to contain the migrants in southern states like Chiapas and Tabasco, the efforts proved deficient with more than 14,000 notoriously reaching the twin border cities of Acuna and Del Rio, Texas. The large numbers rapidly overwhelmed the U.S. Border Patrol. After pressure for perceived inaction, Mexico’s federal government cracked down on bus companies serving northbound Haitians. However, the move appears to be temporary since Mexican officials say they are underfunded and underequipped to care for the large number of migrants.

The concerns revealed to Breitbart Texas not only deal with enforcement issues, but humanitarian ones as well. Mexico lacks enough food, shelter, and sanitary resources to care for the more than 40,000 migrants already in the country.

Mexico’s immigration agency has deported just 70 Haitian “migrants” back home to Haiti.

Mayorkas’ Order

Mayorkas, of course, thinks they should stay here, as his latest order on deportations proves. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, he said, will “exercise discretion” in deporting those who jumped the border.

“We are guided by the fact that the majority of undocumented noncitizens who could be subject to removal have been contributing members of our communities for years,” the unindicted visa fraudster wrote.

Illegals are just too important to the country to deport, he wrote, and so the “the fact an individual is a removable noncitizen therefore should not alone be the basis of an enforcement action against them. We will use our discretion and focus our enforcement resources in a more targeted way. Justice and our country’s well-being require it.”

In fact, “justice” requires removing illegals because they broke the law, but anyway, Mayorkas offered a list of “mitigating factors” that might permit ICE to let an illegal-alien rapist or murderer stay in the country:

• advanced or tender age;

• lengthy presence in the United States;

• a mental condition that may have contributed to the criminal conduct, or a physical or mental condition requiring care or treatment;

• status as a victim of crime or victim, witness, or party in legal proceedings;

• the impact of removal on family in the United States, such as loss of provider or caregiver;

• whether the noncitizen may be eligible for humanitarian protection or other immigration relief;

• military or other public service of the noncitizen or their immediate family;

• time since an offense and evidence of rehabilitation;

• conviction was vacated or expunged.

That list is “not exhaustive.”

The order mirrors what he wrote in February.

Amusingly, Mayorkas called illegal aliens a “threat to border security” and an enforcement priority — but only if they landed here less than a year ago.

“A noncitizen is a threat to border security,” he wrote, “if they are apprehended at the border or port of entry while attempting to unlawfully enter” the country or “apprehended in the United States after unlawfully entering after November 1, 2020.”

Presumably illegals who jumped the border before November 1 last year are not a “threat to border security.” That aside, the order suggests that ICE must deport almost all the illegal aliens caught during almost all of fiscal 2021, which ended on September 30.

No one believes Biden and Mayorkas will deport those new Democrat voters.
