It is nearly certain that illegal immigrants in California will receive mail-in ballots to vote in the 2020 presidential election thanks to the state’s lackadaisical voter-registration system and Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom’s executive order allowing all voters in the state to vote via mail-in ballot this November because of the Chinese coronavirus.
Government Accountability Institute Research Director Eric Eggers laid out the reasons for this voting insanity in an interview with Breitbart News Tonight. Eggers is the author of Fraud: How the Left Plans to Steal the Next Election. “California is famous for having flawed and bloated voter rolls, unfortunately California is not the only state in the country to do so, but maybe they do it better than anyone else,” Eggers said.
California already allows ballot harvesting, wherein political operatives collect ballots at places such as nursing homes and deliver them to polling places with virtually no oversight. It is also a state with more registered voters than residents who are eligible to vote. Newsom’s vote-by-mail order only exacerbates voter fraud in the Golden State.
Coincidentally, while Newsom looks to suspend in-person voting for the 2020 election because of concerns over the coronavirus, such ballot harvesting requires political operatives to go places and physically interact with people who are in the high-risk category for coronavirus.
“We’re being told to stay home.… We can’t go out and do many of the most basic functions of American life but we can sure send these asymptomatic carriers to the elderly and anybody else’s house they want to collect a ballot and drop it off,” Eggers said.
The idea that illegal immigrants will be mailed ballots willy-nilly is even more galling.
“This is really where the left shows a level of hypocrisy, which they’re not regularly held to account,” Eggers said. “What if the ballots go to illegal immigrants that willingly or unwillingly ended up on the voter rolls and maybe they just don’t even know they’re not supposed to be casting ballots? Because remember, elsewhere in California and elsewhere nationally, it is legal for non-citizens to vote in certain elections.”
California is a state with so-called automatic voter registration, which is connected to driver licensing. Illegal immigrants are allowed to have drivers licenses in the state.
“The only person standing in between a non-citizen or an illegal alien just getting their driver’s license and the voter rolls is a DMV employee,” Eggers told Breitbart. “You’ve got these people [who] often times are confused or coerced by political operatives and told to register to vote.… The DMV officials are prohibited by law from giving real guidance on should you check the box and register to vote or not.”
“You’ve got this system where … you’ve got over a million illegal immigrants in California that have driver’s licenses,” Eggers explained. “I think it’s fair to assume that a good number of those inadvertently or intentionally ended up on the voter rolls, and those people are about to be receiving a mail-in ballot.”
While most consider California a lost cause for Republicans and others on the right of the political spectrum, there is a definite danger that this vote-by-mail scheme being pushed by Newsom could become a national movement.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who has familial ties to Newsom in addition to their obvious political alliance, is pushing for vote-by-mail legislation in the new coronavirus relief package. Ridiculously, Pelosi claims that vote-by-mail will enhance election integrity.
“No matter what the president says, it cannot be denied,” Pelosi said. “But it takes us to the next step. They have also told us 24/7 the Russians are still at work trying to undermine our election. That’s why we have to have an important chunk of money in this next bill that will enable us to protect the integrity of our elections, as well as enable the American people to vote by mail, especially at this time of a health danger in going to the polls.
Pelosi and the Democrats attempted to strong-arm vote-by-mail legislation through in the first round of coronavirus relief, but were rebuffed by the Senate and President Trump.
The Democrats are using the coronavirus and peddling fear in order to reshape voting laws and other aspects of our everyday life. As South Carolina Representative James Clyburn said in March, the virus represents “a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.”
Destroying our election system may indeed be the Democrats’ vision, but it cannot be allowed to become America’s vision.
