The new South Africa is a disaster for European-descent Afrikaners facing racism, violence, and discrimination, South African Afrikaner grandmother Lize Kleynhans who came to the United States seeking asylum explained to The New American’s Alex Newman in this episode of Conversations That Matter. Kleynhans, a widow with three sons and a new grandbaby, highlighted some of the horrific crimes targeting white South Africans. It took years for her youngest son to be able to sleep through the night in America after seeing top political leaders chanting for his death. Kleynhans is thankful to Trump and the United States for welcoming Afrikaners, and also had important messages for the president, her fellow Afrikaners in South Africa, and also the American people.
