The developed world needs to hand over $1 trillion per year to the “global South” to help solve climate change and environmental issues, Bank on the Climate activist David Ligouy told The New American magazine Senior Editor Alex Newman. Ligouy, who has ridden his solar-powered e-bike across five continents to raise awareness, is helping spearhead the “Peace + $1 trillion” campaign. “We have a mission to bring back happiness, security, and health to the young generation,” he added.
