Charlie Kirk traveled to South Korea just days before he was assassinated to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ and encourage the people to fight for freedom. During the trip, Kirk became increasingly concerned about South Korea’s radical left government, the passing of pro-transgender laws, and political weaponization against Bible-believing Christians, revealed historian and close friend and mentor to Charlie Kirk, Bill Federer, to Alex Newman for The New American’s Behind The Deep State.

“Charlie was talking to his staff and said, ‘We have one more event with students in Utah, and then I am going to put my full focus on exposing this CCP infiltration in the politics in South Korea,'” Federer, who was with Charlie on the international trip, shared in this exclusive interview.

Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed Kirk’s concerns during his memorial speech in Arizona, revealing Charlie texted him about the issue and wanted to investigate it further.

“I will always think there is some Deep State interest behind this assassination,” Federer shared, noting that the truth behind the shooting will most likely never be uncovered.
