A central theme of this year’s annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF) was “Rebuilding Trust.” While restoring public trust obliterated during the Covid pandemic is an unattainable goal, a mere attempt to do so by answering questions of the independent media or simply apologizing would be a step in the right direction, believes independent journalist Callum Smiles. At the same time, he emphasized that it became obvious that, at this point, there’s no benefit in participating in any globalist forums or other supranational organizations obsessed with power and control.
In this interview with The New American, Callum shares the highlights of his coverage of the 2024 WEF meeting in Davos and talks about the rising interest in the WEF agenda from the general public which is becoming aware of the totalitarian nature of this “private club” of corporate bosses and top-level politicians. Some of the world’s elites the journalist asked his pointed questions include Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director-general of the World Health Organization (WHO), Doug Emhoff, America’s second gentleman, and Dr. Chris Elias, president of the Global Development Division of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF). Talking about the WHO’s catastrophic mishandling of the Covid pandemic that was likely pre-planned in advance, as appears from Event 201, Callum maintained that people should have been more critical of decisions made by their own national governments and held them accountable. This becomes especially important as the WHO is planning for Disease X and future pandemics.
The journalist also provides his perspectives on some of the key points made during the meeting, such as the WEF’s insistence on prioritizing global interests over national and individual ones and the need for developed countries to provide more money to tackle “global challenges” such as climate change and poverty.
Other topics discussed in this interview include the recurring high demand for sex services at the Davos gather-ups and the declining quality of life around the globe and the West in particular, which appears to be a consequence of the WEF infiltrating governments worldwide, as boasted by Klaus Schwab.
