Did Hell just freeze over? Some may thus wonder with news that Disney, aka Woke Entertainment Central, has just eliminated a “transgender” storyline from a new animated series.

The sexual devolutionaries (“LGBTQ+” lobby) are howling, too, accustomed as they are to Disney doing their bidding. The move is still only a baby step, however. The MUSS (Made-up Sexual Status, aka “transgender”) character will still appear on the program, Pixar’s Win or Lose. But dialogue relating to its psychological delusion has been removed by the creators.

As BallerAlert reports:

Disney has removed a transgender storyline from a Pixar series “Win Or Lose” that’s set to debut in February on Disney+. The eight-episode animated show follows a middle school co-ed softball team preparing for a big match.

“When it comes to animated content for a younger audience,” a Disney spokes[man] said[,] “We recognize that many parents would prefer to discuss certain subjects with their children on their own terms and timeline.”

Although the series will still include a transgender character, it will not feature the character’s gender identity. Disney added that the change will only affect “just a few lines of dialogue” towards the end of the season.

This newfound respect for parents’ concerns is quite a departure from Disney’s protest against a Florida parental-rights bill just two short years ago. The company had a problem with the bill’s aim: protecting young schoolchildren from sexual devolutionary propaganda. (Though Disney had no problem simultaneously pandering to genocidal China.)

Disney decided to go to the mat, too, value-signaling all the way, with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis on the matter. The result? The company got its wings clipped: Sunshine State lawmakers stripped Disney of its special self-governing status in 2022.

Child Mind Molesters Against Baby Steps

This loss of status, along with this year’s election results and a perceived anti-wokeness cultural shift, have apparently caused Disney to see (a bit of) the light. But even this is too much for the sexual devolutionaries. In fact, some of them have circulated a petition protesting Disney’s Pixar move. Per Breitbart:

The petition is demanding that Disney executives “reverse their cowardly, spineless decision,” claiming the studio is trying “to suppress queer voices for the sake of monetary gain from hateful, bigoted conservatives that they’re so afraid of alienating for foolish reasons.”

Disney “spits in the face of the value of LGBTQ+ representation in family media,” the petition states.

Of course, one might consider whether the pandering to the sexual devolutionaries was cowardly in the first place.

No Time for a Victory Lap

Now, conservatives often cheer victories such as the Pixar change and then, as normal people do, focus on kitchen-table matters. Yet Disney’s decision represents merely one battle in the retaking of one percent of the territory lost to sexual devolutionaries. Again note that the MUSS character will still be in the Win or Lose series. It’s just that the writers won’t give voice to his agenda via dialogue — for now.

But we can’t MAGA unless we MAMA: Make America moral again. Insofar as the MUSS agenda goes, this requires being steadfast in a certain proposition: “Transgender” people do not exist.

Oh, people with Sexual Identity Disorder (aka “gender dysphoria”) exist. Men with autogynephilia — that is, deriving sexual excitement from dressing as women and doing things they do — exist.

But “transgender” people don’t because humans don’t have “gender” (words do), but the quality known as “sex.” And no amount of drugs and surgery can change your sex; it’s an immutable characteristic.

For this reason, MUSS individuals should get help and counseling, not parts in movies and TV shows. And as soon as we shrink from this principled stand and compromise, we become part of the problem.

Disney Still Diabolical

In truth, Disney still has a long way to go to emerge from sexual-devolutionary status. This is because our culture still has a long way to go. For, as with politics, corporate policy is downstream from culture. As to Disney’s trespasses, The Hollywood Reporter informs after addressing the Pixar story:

It’s not the first time the company has come under scrutiny for LGBTQ+ storylines, particularly regarding its animated content.

In 2022, controversy erupted both inside and outside of Disney following former CEO Bob Chapek’s much-criticized response to Florida’s “Don’t Say Gay” [note: This is a propaganda term] bill. In June of that year, Pixar’s Lightyear included a same-gender relationship and kiss, which also sparked controversy. Disney Animation’s Strange World, which featured an openly gay lead character, opened several months later. Both films failed to perform domestically or overseas, earning just $226.4 million and $73.6 million, respectively, at the global box office. LGBTQ+ content faces challenges in certain international markets, where a country may impose a more restrictive age rating or ban the content altogether.

Then there was Disney hire Karey Burke, a self-professed mother of “one transgender child and one pansexual child.” She can be heard in the video below lamenting that there still aren’t enough “queer leads” in Disney creations.

Disney has also embraced discriminatory hiring practices justified as “inclusion standards.” In fact, the company had established precise quotas for what it calls “Underrepresented” groups (relevant tweet below).

So, yes, we have a long way to go. As we ponder this, we should also remember that eternal vigilance is the price of morality — that prerequisite for liberty. And how will we know when we’ve really turned the corner?

We will be able to “say gay” again — with it just meaning happy.
