The Pentagon has fired a top consultant for conspiring with retired flag officers of the U.S. military to undermine the incoming Trump administration under the guise of “protecting” Americans from the president-elect.
Jamie Mannina, who worked for government contracting-behemoth Booz Allen Hamilton, confessed the scheme to an O’Keefe Media Group (OMG) reporter.
He also confessed that defeating Trump was his “mission.” Trump’s victory, he claimed, cost him a “big job” with a President Kamala Harris administration.
The shocking admissions come from not only a contractor, however, but also a former FBI special agent who segued into the bureau from the Hillary Clinton campaign.
Upshot: A former Clinton torpedo wangled his way into the FBI, and from there into a top contracting job that became, for him, a hideout from which he could not only help the Harris campaign but also politically attack the president-elect.
Mannina’s revelations are particularly concerning given what outgoing National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said at a farewell press briefing two days ago. An “unexpected event” might be forthcoming in the “next few days.”
“Embedded in the Pentagon”
The trouble began for the apparently wifeless Mannina, as it has for so many of OMG’s gullible interviewees, on a date with a fetching reporter.
Mannina told the reporter that he was “embedded in the Pentagon” and works “in the joint staff.”
Trump is a “sociopathic narcissist who is only interested in advancing his name, his wealth, and his fame,” he said.
When the reporter asked whether Mannina could do anything to protect Americans from the Evil Donald Trump, Mannina was ready with answer:
I’m in conversation with a couple of retired generals to try to explore what we can do.
Asked to name the generals and admirals, Mannina said they were “one-, two-, and three-star generals and admirals, you probably know [them], maybe four stars.”
Whether these flag officers exist isn’t clear. If they do, the question is what their cooperation with Mannina would mean legally.
Mannina told the reporter he and the nation’s top military brass would meet the next day in “The Tank,” a secure room in the Pentagon.
The contractor also told the reporter he was involved in the far-left, hate-Trump National Security Leaders for America (NSL4A), which tried to derail Trump’s second presidential effort.
Mannina said that he ghostwrote more than 100 opinion articles for the renegade outfit. Despite its claims of bipartisanship, the website congratulates all the hate-Trump Democrats elected to Congress on November 5, including impeachment hoaxer Eugene Vindman, real name Yevgeny, an immigrant from Ukraine. Vindman played a small role in the first impeachment of President Trump. His twin brother, Alexander, played a major role.
Apparently, NSL4A couldn’t find any Republicans to congratulate.
“We tried to explain to the American people the national security consequences of another Trump presidency,” Mannina told the reporter.
Of those articles and that effort, Mannina said he worked tirelessly to defeat Trump despite being a Pentagon contractor. Noting that he planted articles in “pretty big papers” such as The Wall Street Journal and National Journal, he confessed that he “was literally working day and night, nonstop.”
“So when ultimately when [Trump] won, I was really frankly depressed,” he continued:
I was really sad, really depressed, not only in terms of the mission failure … but of course I was hoping to advance my career. Had [Harris] won, I would have gotten a pretty big job.
You’re Fired
Once OMG’s video of Mannina went viral, the Pentagon pink-slipped him.
A Pentagon spokesman told OMG chief James O’Keefe that Mannina “is not an advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff or the Joint Chiefs, nor has he interacted with the Chairman or the Joint Chiefs.”
The spokesman did confirm that Mannina worked for Booz Allen Hamilton. That raises the question of how much hate-Trump politicking Mannina did with NSL4A on the taxpayer’s dime. And what his employer knew about it.
Mannina’s comments “do not reflect the positions of the Chairman or the Joint Staff,” the spokesman said.
Likely furious that he lost a cushy job at the top of the military-industrial complex, Mannina called O’Keefe a “known liar” and a “known fraudster.”
He also wanted to know why OMG hired a woman to take him out on a date. Answer: Because OMG knew yet another lonely man in the big city would swallow the bait like a hungry trout.
Mannina’s confession also raises the question of what other top government contractors worked “day and night, nonstop” to stop Trump.
Sullivan’s “Unexpected Event”
The day before Mannina’s confession went viral, Biden’s National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan spoke to reporters for what would be his last news conference.
“I just will say one last word, which is, this is — I hope this is my last time at this podium — (laughter) — at least for a little while, and I don’t mean that in a negative sense,” Sullivan began his closing remarks:
I mean the only thing that would bring me back is an unexpected event in the next few days, which, as you all know, is totally possible given everything you’ve seen over the course of the past years.
What Sullivan meant is unclear.
Some X users said it might be a “threat” against incoming President Trump.
“We are only a week away from Trump’s presidential inauguration WTF is he talking about,” wrote user SynCronus. “Lock and Load.”
The PBD Podcast from commentator Patrick Bet-David called Sullivan’s remarks a “chilling warning.”
“Is U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan trying to tell us something?” another user wrote.
