Yet again, far-left, extremist, Democratic Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett of Texas has threatened violence against her political foes.

This time, the putative target of the Democrat’s wrath is GOP Senator Ted Cruz of Texas. Crockett told two reporters that Cruz deserves to be “knocked over the head.” Other political opponents should expect a “punch.”

The dangerous, incendiary remarks follow an imprudent statement she made last week. Crockett told supporters of the organizers of the Tesla Takedown movement that she wants Tesla tycoon Elon Musk “taken down” on her birthday. Musk has become Public Enemy No. 1 of the crackpot Left because his Department of Government Efficiency has exposed the waste, fraud, and abuse inside the federal bureaucracy.

Yesterday, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said that Crockett had better watch her step. The latest suggestion of violence against Cruz won’t help her case.

How Do You Win an Election? Punch Cruz.

The latest from the daffy congresswoman surfaced in a “Lone Star Politics” interview with NBC5 and the Dallas Morning News

Before suggesting that Cruz take one over the noggin, Crockett unbosomed herself of risible falsehood:

The reality is we’re dealing with an administration that is lawless and disrespectful and so the idea that we’re still going to be nice and friendly and kind and try to look for some sense of normalcy when we’re literally living in a time that is anything but normal. I think that we’ve got to get comfortable with letting our hair down a little bit.

(“Normal” must mean what the Biden administration was when it hired a man who pretends he’s a woman as the No. 2 federal health official, along with a bald, “nonbinary” homosexual involved in “pup play” to help run the nation’s nuclear waste program. That dude — a convicted luggage thief who had no hair to let down — wore more lipstick and owned more dresses and pantyhose than the models in Vogue and Glamour combined.)

After a little more palaver, the newspaper’s Gromer Jeffers asked Crockett the question that elicited her prescription for Democratic victory. Her advice? Throw punches, brain Cruz. She didn’t specify her weapon of choice.

“How do you win elections in Texas as a Democrat?” Jeffers asked. “What do you do, especially statewide?”

Crockett answered using the imagery of rancor and violence:

I think that you punch. I think you punch. I think you’re OK with — you’re OK with punching.

The conversation continued, and she zeroed in on the conservative Cruz:

But, like, it’s Ted Cruz. I mean, like, this dude has to be knocked over the head, like, hard, right? Like, there is no niceties with him, like, at all. Like, you go clean off on him, right?

The optics, as the argot of politics goes, aren’t good.

Crockett’s remarks are the second time in a week that she’s used a dog whistle that might push supporters with perked-up ears to do more than protest or express their opinions.

As The New American reported last week, Crockett appeared in a video with Tesla Takedown organizers.

“I am truly here for very selfish reasons,” she began:

Starting with, on March 29th, it’s my birthday. And all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down. … I have learned, as I serve on the DOGE oversight committee, that there is only one language that the people that are in charge understand right now, and that language is money.

Bondi Responds

Bondi had some advice for Crockett on Fox’s Sunday Morning Futures.

The attorney general told hostess Maria Bartiromo that Crockett had better be careful. She might just land in a federal jail cell:

She is an elected public official, so she needs to tread very carefully. Because nothing will happen to Elon Musk, and we are going to fight to protect all the Tesla owners throughout this country.

Bondi reminded Crockett that the three anti-Tesla terror suspects now in custody

will receive severe and swift consequences. … We are not negotiating these. We are not coming off these charges. We are looking at everything, especially if this is a concerted effort.

It is a concerted effort.

For its part, the Tesla Takedown website claims it only wants peaceful protest and to destroy Tesla financially.

In an interview with MSNBC, Crockett claimed she has not called for and does not advocate violence. She turned the conservation to the mostly peaceful protest at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

“I just want to say that I have never promoted violence whatsoever,” she said:

Yet, I’ve also never made excuses for those violent actors, such as the ones on January 6th. So Pam Bondi, if you have an issue with terrorism, maybe you should talk to your boss about locking back up those guys that he let out that participated in January 6th.

Earlier Remarks

Crockett has a history of remarks that suggest she isn’t the wisest owl in the parliament.

Yet again on MSNBC, the Democratic Party’s cable megaphone, Crockett offered legal advice that illegal aliens take at their own risk.

“They continue to say things like ‘the illegals’ and that they broke the law coming in,” she said:

But what they are not telling the American people is that it is a civil violation. It is not a criminal violation to enter the country illegally. … It’s not a crime.

Yes, it is a crime. And Crockett, a lawyer, should know better. Entering the country illegally violates 8 U.S. Code 1325 and can be punished with not only fines, but also prison time.
