Whistleblower Outed: He’s an Anti-Trump Democrat Connected to Forgotten Collusion of 2016

The CIA “whistleblower” who claimed that President Trump solicited “foreign interference” in the 2020 election worked with the Democrat operative who sought “foreign interference” from Ukrainians to defeat Trump in 2016.

With the help of the media, Paul Sperry of Real Clear Investigations reported yesterday, Democrats have tried to keep CIA operative Eric Ciaramella’s identity a secret from the public, but he is well known on Capitol Hill and among the hate-Trump leftist media.

That’s not surprising. Ciaramella (2004 photo shown), an Obama partisan who worked for Trump’s National Security Council, is a Democrat torpedo.

Ciaramella, Sperry reported, was also behind the false narrative that Russian President Vladimir Putin persuaded President Trump to fire FBI director James Comey in May 2017.

Background
Ciaramella’s name, Sperry reported, “has been raised privately in impeachment depositions” but “fearing their anonymous witness could be exposed, Democrats this week blocked Republicans from asking more questions about him and intend to redact his name from all deposition transcripts.”

Democrats have good reason to keep his identity a secret. Again, Ciaramella, who started the latest impeachment hysteria with hearsay claims that Trump solicited Ukraine’s help in sinking Joe Biden’s 2020 election effort, opposes Trump.

That’s been known for some time. The New American reported in early October, citing Sperry and CNN’s Jake Tapper, that the whistleblower is a Democrat fired from Trump’s NSC.

But now, Sperry has more details: “Federal documents reveal that the 33-year-old Ciaramella, a registered Democrat held over from the Obama White House, previously worked with former Vice President Joe Biden and former CIA Director John Brennan, a vocal critic of Trump who helped initiate the Russia ‘collusion’ investigation of the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.”

And Ciaramella was fired because he was supsected of leaking anti-Trump material to the media.

Worked With Anti-Trump DNC Operative
Yet Ciaramella might well have been part of the “forgotten collusion” story of 2016. That story details the DNC-Clinton campaign effort to get Ukraine’s help in sinking Trump.

As The New American reported in September, DNC consultant Alexandra Chalupa sought dirt from the Ukrainians on then-Trump campaign chief Paul Manafort, who’s in federal prison for bank fraud and other crimes.

The Ukrainians turned her down, the country’s ambassador told The Hill’s John Solomon, but his answers to Solomon’s question “mark the most direct acknowledgement by Ukraine’s government that an American tied to the Democratic Party sought the country’s help in the 2016 election.”

Another Ukrainian official told Solomon that he met with Chalupa and did collect anti-Manafort/anti-Trump dirt, though it never went to Chalupa. The DNC paid Chalupa’s consultancy $71,918 in the 2016 election cycle.

Here’s where Ciaramella enters the story. He invited the DNC hitwoman to the White House. “He knows her. He had her in the White House,” a former co-worker told Sperry. And “documents confirm the DNC opposition researcher attended at least one White House meeting with Ciaramella in November 2015. She visited the White House with a number of Ukrainian officials lobbying the Obama administration for aid for Ukraine.”

Beyond that, Sperry reported, Ciaramella helped concoct the discredited conspiracy theory that Putin pushed Trump to fire Comey.

An e-mail Ciaramella sent “outside his chain of command” disclosed that Trump met with Russian diplomats in the Oval Office the day after he fired the FBI director, who ran the investigation into the Trump-Russia collusion hoax. “But the email also noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin had phoned the president a week earlier.”

And Trump bragged to the Russians about firing Comey, the e-mail said.

Reported Sperry:

In effect, Ciaramella helped generate the “Putin fired Comey” narrative, according to the research dossier making the rounds in Congress, a copy of which was obtained by RealClearInvestigations.

Ciaramella allegedly argued that “President Putin suggested that President Trump fire Comey,” the report said. “In the days after Comey’s firing, this presidential action was used to further political and media calls for the standup [sic] of the special counsel to investigate ‘Russia collusion.’”

In the end, Special Counsel Robert Mueller found no conspiracy between Trump and Putin. Ciaramella’s email was cited in a footnote in his report, which mentions only Ciaramella’s name, the date and the recipients “Kelly et al.” Former colleagues said the main recipient was then-Homeland Security Director John Kelly.

If all that isn’t enough, Sperry also disclosed this: Two of “Ciaramella’s closest allies at the NSC … also Obama holdovers” work for House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff, who helping orchestrate the Star Chamber impeachment of Trump.

Why Keep His Name a Secret?
So apart from his CIA portfolio, the ballyhooed whistleblower is a Democrat legman up to his neck in the effort to overthrow Trump.

“Everyone knows who he is,” Fred Fleitz, a national security adviser to Trump, told Sperry. “CNN knows. The Washington Post knows. The New York Times knows. Congress knows. The White House knows. Even the president knows who he is.”

But the hate-Trump media and Democrats are “hiding him because of his political bias.”

Question is, what will the GOP do about it?
