Today’s election is far from over. Yet Trump Derangement Syndrome is already leading to violence.

In Amesbury, Massachusetts, on Saturday, a city councilor was locked up after disrupting a pro-Trump parade.

In Bath, New York, on Friday, a TDS sufferer beat the tar out of another man because he wore a pro-Trump hat.

The two crimes follow weeks of hateful rhetoric from Democratic leaders, including Vice President Kamala Harris, President Joe Biden, and former President Barack Obama. Harris compared Trump to Adolf Hitler and called him a “fascist,” while Biden called Trump supporters “garbage” and said he wants to “smack” them. Obama repeated the lie that Trump said neo-Nazis and white supremacists are “very fine people.”

With the media echoing the hate-Trump propaganda, Americans should expect hate-Trump riots nationwide — possibly worse than the inauguration day riots in 2017 — if he wins today’s election.

Bay State Madness, Beating in Bath

Police arrested Amesbury councilor Steve Stanganelli for disorderly conduct. Cops accuse Stanganelli of “screaming at supporters of presidential candidate and former President Donald Trump, blocking traffic as they drove by with campaign signs and American flags, and jumping onto the hood of one vehicle,” Boston25 News reported.

Yesterday, he pleaded not guilty and has a court date on December 11.

“Stanganelli told Boston 25 that he wasn’t targeting Trump supporters during the rolling Trump rally, and that it was an issue of public safety,” the station reported:

He said he saw several cars failing to stop at the stop sign at the corner of High and Market streets.

“There was no intention, any attempt by me to stifle First Amendment rights. I didn’t even know there was any kind of rally activity going on,” Stanganelli said.

Maybe, but police say otherwise. Video shows and witnesses said that Stanganelli’s “actions were disorderly by purposefully causing a risk that alarmed the public with agitated and tumultuous behavior.”

A witness told cops that Stanganelli targeted vehicles with Trump flags and “was screaming at the Trump supporters stating that they do not belong there.” The councilor was in the middle of the street “screaming and yelling and antagonizing each Trump vehicle that passed.”

Other video shows Stangenelli unhinged, the station continued:

In a video described by police, Stanganelli is seen walking in front of a gray pickup truck, and then “Steve was in front of the pickup screaming at” the driver.

Initially, the driver “stopped and Steve continued to scream and yell.” The driver “then attempted to leave, and Steve was blocking his vehicle,” police said.

In the video, the driver is seen inching forward “and appear to make contact with Steve,” who then “jumps on the hood” of the driver’s truck, claiming that the driver hit him.

“Steve blocked the path of several vehicles and appeared to only be the vehicles that were showing support to Trump,” police said.

Stanganelli claimed that he was assaulted by a man. Witnesses told police they did not see the city councilor assaulted “but witnessed Steve pushing himself in front of people’s faces,” police said.

The beating in Bath suggests that stranger danger might just be a real phenomenon, at least for anyone wearing a MAGA hat.

Village cops arrested 60-year-old Robert Yott on charges of “felony second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal mischief, a misdemeanor,” Fox News reported

Police allege that Yott beat the daylights out of a Trump backer at a market. Yott “became aggressive with the stranger and punched the victim in the mouth and head several times” and broke the victim’s teeth, Fox reported.

Harris, Biden, Obama Encourage TDS

The TDS isn’t likely to abate given what Harris, Biden, and Obama have said about Trump and his voters.

In late October, Harris called reporters together to deliver a lengthy denunciation of Trump after a ridiculous report that compared his rally at Madison Square Garden to a Nazi rally there in 1939 along with another dubious claim that Trump admired Hitler’s generals for their loyalty to the Nazi dictator.

“Donald Trump is out for unchecked power,” Harris said. “He wants a military like Adolf Hitler had, who will be loyal to him, not our Constitution. He is unhinged, unstable, and given a second term, there would be no one to stop him from pursuing his worst impulses.”

Later Harris posted to X:

Harris’ boss has been no better.

Most recently, he said Trump and his supporters “are the kind of guys you’d like to smack in the ass.”

Responding to the comedian at the Madison Square Garden rally who joked that Puerto Rico was a “floating island of garbage,” Biden said “the only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”

White House press people later changed the transcript.

“Would you place your faith in someone who instituted a so-called Muslim ban, or sat down with Holocaust deniers, or said that there were ‘very fine people on both sides’ of a white supremacist rally?” Obama recently said of Trump.

Translation: Trump himself is a “Holocaust denier” and supports white supremacists. Except that he is not a Holocaust denier, and even the far-left Snopes.com debunked the “very fine people” lie months ago.

Mental Health Crisis

In October, political analyst Mark Halperin predicted that a Trump victory today would cause the “greatest mental health crisis in the history of the country”:

I think tens of millions of people will question their connection to the nation, their connection to other human beings, their connection to their vision of what the future for them and their children could be like. I think it will require an enormous amount of access to mental health professionals. I think it’ll lead to trauma in the workplace.

Halperin also predicted violent protests, “workplace fights,” and “fights at kids’ birthday parties.”

The fights — or at least attacks on Trump supporters — have begun.
