The FBI didn’t just bury negative information to stop a probe into the crimes of Hunter Biden, as agency whistleblowers told Senator Charles Grassley (R-Iowa).
Now, we learn, whistleblowers told Representative Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and other GOP members of the House Judiciary Committee that agents are manufacturing fake domestic terror data to push the idea that white supremacists and even parents who attend school board meetings are major security threats.
Like Grassley, Jordan exposed the scandal in a letter for FBI Director Christopher Wray. As well, the same agent who kiboshed the negative information on Biden also pressured underlings to inflate the terror numbers.
If what Jordan has alleged is true, then the FBI, as The New American reported yesterday, has become a politicized secret police force for the Democrat Party.
“Padding” Numbers
“FBI officials are pressuring agents to reclassify cases as ‘domestic violent extremism’ even if the cases do not meet the criteria for such a classification,” whistleblowers told Jordan:
Given the narrative pushed by the Biden Administration that domestic violent extremism is the ‘greatest threat’ facing our country, the revelation that the FBI may be artificially padding domestic terrorism data is scandalous.
Jordan noted that Wray and other top Biden administration officials, including the leftist attorney general, Merrick Garland, have testified that the FBI has “doubled the amount of domestic terrorism investigations”and that “the number of open FBI domestic terrorism investigations this year has increased significantly.”
But the whistleblowers say the “narrative may be misleading,” Jordan continued:
We have received accusations that FBI agents are bolstering the number of cases of DVEs to satisfy their superiors. For example, one whistleblower explained that because agents are not finding enough DVE cases, they are encouraged and incentivized to reclassify cases as DVE cases even though there is minimal, circumstantial evidence to support the reclassification.
Another whistleblower — who led at least one high profile domestic terrorism investigation — stated that a field office Counterterrorism Assistant Special Agent in Charge and the FBI’s Director of the Counterterrorism Division have pressured agents to move cases into the DVE category to hit self-created performance metrics. According to whistleblowers, the FBI uses these metrics to dispense awards and promotions. Every whistleblower has called it an environment of “pressure” within the FBI.
Jordan’s letter also went to Michael Horowitz, inspector general of the Justice Department.
The whistleblowers’ allegations comport with the FBI’s targeting parents as domestic violent extremists for giving a hard time to leftist school-board members who promote sodomy, pornography, “transgender” ideology, and Critical Race Theory in public schools.
In May in a letter to Garland, Jordan alleged that the agency targeted parents with “counterterrorism statutes and resources,” including a National Threat Operations Center’s “snitch line.”
Although Jordan’s letter does not name names, Breitbart reported that an agent Grassley fingered for his involvement in the Hunter Biden cover-up, Timothy Thibault, is also involved in the narrative to pad the data on domestic violent extremism. A whistleblower later told Jordan that Thibault is one of the agents who “pressured agents to move cases into the DVE category to hit self-created performance metrics.”
Negative Biden 411 Buried
Jordan’s accusations are the latest scandal to hit the disgraced agency this week.
On July 25, Grassley told Wray and Garland that FBI agents had buried negative information about Hunter Biden’s wide-ranging criminal activity.
“In August 2020, FBI Supervisory Intelligence Analyst Brian Auten opened an assessment which was used by a FBI Headquarters (“FBI HQ”) team to improperly discredit negative Hunter Biden information as disinformation and caused investigative activity to cease,” Grassley wrote:
Based on allegations, verified and verifiable derogatory information on Hunter Biden was falsely labeled as disinformation.…
[T]he allegations provided to my office appear to indicate that there was a scheme in place among certain FBI officials to undermine derogatory information connected to Hunter Biden by falsely suggesting it was disinformation.
Meanwhile, that same FBI was involved in a coup attempt against President Trump.
