Pro-tranny fury erupted during a subcommittee hearing of the U.S. House Foreign Relations  Committee today when its chieftain called a man a man. Following the rules of the House and the Trump administration, Representative Keith Self of Texas, chairman of the Europe subcommittee, had the temerity to address freshman Democratic member Sarah McBride — a “trans woman” — as “Mr.”

Far-left ranking member Bill Keating of Massachusetts erupted in fury and provoked Self into adjourning the meeting.

Self’s crime: He “misgendered” McBride.

The first tranny elected to Congress, McBride has been trouble since Day 1. GOP Representative Nancy Mace of South Carolina immediately moved to ban him from using women’s restrooms and other facilities in the U.S. Capitol. House Speaker Mike Johnson agreed.

Self Recognizes “Mr. McBride”

Titled “Arms Control, International Security, & U.S. Assistance to Europe: Reforms for the State Department,” the hearing sounded like it offered all the excitement of watching the grass grow.

Self explained that “each subcommittee [of the Foreign Affairs Committee] has been assigned different bureaus from across the State Department in order to conduct oversight, explore potential reforms, and to ultimately authorize the bureaus into law.”

Ho-hum stuff.

But after hearing from a witness, Self turned over the floor to the U.S. House’s version of M*A*S*H’s Corporal Max Q. Klinger, who attired himself as a woman to get a Section 8 discharge from the Army and get out of Korea.

Difference is, McBride attired himself as a woman to get into Congress.

“I recognize the representative from Delaware, Mr. McBride,” Self said.

Replied McBride, “Thank you, Madame Chair.”

Keating interrupted.

“Mr. Chairman, could you repeat your instruction again, please?” Keating asked.

“Yes,” Self replied, “we have set the standard on the floor of the House, and I’m simply …”

“What is that standard, Mr. Chairman?” Keating interrupted. “Could you repeat what you just said? When you introduced a duly elected representative from the United States of America. Please.”

“I will,” Self replied. “The representative from Delaware, Mr. McBride.”

“Have You No Decency?”

Keating then channeled lawyer-actor Joseph Welch, credited with upending the career of GOP U.S. Senator Joseph McCarthy.

During a hearing of McCarthy’s Senate Investigations Committee on June 9, 1954, McCarthy said one of Welch’s colleagues had ties to the National Lawyers Guild, a communist front.

“Until this moment, Senator, I think I never really gauged your cruelty or your recklessness,” Welch said. “Let us not assassinate this lad further, senator. You have done enough. Have you no sense of decency?” Welch went on to play the judge in 1959’s courtroom thriller, Anatomy of a Murder.

His face now the color of McBride’s lipstick, Keating continued, aping the words of Boston’s Welch.

“Mr. Chairman, you are out of order,” Keating fumed. “Have you no decency? I’ve come to know you a little bit, but this is not decent.”

“We will continue this hearing,” Self firmly said.

“You will not continue it with me unless you introduce a duly elected representative the right way!”

Self adjourned the meeting.

Why the Trouble?

The dispute directly results from the Democratic Party’s surrender to woke leftism in pretending that men can become women, and women can become men.

The party’s kookery explains two things: Why President Donald Trump and the GOP creamed the Democrats on November 5, and why normal women in the U.S. Capitol froze in fear when man-lady McBride showed up in a dress.

One of those women is rape victim Mace. Understandably, she doesn’t want to share a restroom with 5 O’Clock Shadow McBride.

In November, Mace introduced a resolution to ban McBride and all other man-ladies from using women’s facilities on Capitol Hill. She also introduced a bill to ban men from using those facilities on all federal properties. The facilities include restrooms, locker rooms, and changing rooms

“I’m not gonna allow biological men into women’s private spaces,” Mace told a pro-“trans” ABC reporter:

I will stand in the brink and stand in the way of anyone on the radical Left who thinks that it’s OK for a penis to be in a women’s locker room or a bathroom or a changing room.…

I’m absolutely gonna stand in the way of anyone who thinks it’s OK for a man to be in our locker room, in our changing rooms, in our dressing rooms, in women’s bathrooms. And in fact if you agree with that, you’re crazy. Cause that’s not OK. It’s not OK.

Johnson acted quickly, and banned men from women’s facilities. “A man is a man, and a woman is a woman,” he said. “And a man cannot become a woman.”

“It is important to note that each Member office has its own private restroom, and unisex restrooms are available throughout the Capitol,” he said: “Women deserve women’s only spaces.”

“Don’t care what a man thinks about women protecting our God-given rights,” Mace wrote on X:

Your race doesn’t matter. Your political party doesn’t matter.

We just don’t want to be naked in front of strange men. Period.

So McBride — at least as many times as he uses the restroom — is reminded that he is, indeed, a man.

Trump Order

Recognizing two sexes isn’t just the policy on Capitol Hill.

On Day 1 of his administration, Trump signed an executive order, “Defending Women From Gender Ideology Extremism And Restoring Biological Truth To The Federal Government,” that ended, at least for his term, tranny madness in the federal government.

“Across the country, ideologues who deny the biological reality of sex have increasingly used legal and other socially coercive means to permit men to self-identify as women and gain access to intimate single-sex spaces and activities designed for women, from women’s domestic abuse shelters to women’s workplace showers,” the order says:

This is wrong.…

It is the policy of the United States to recognize two sexes, male and female.  These sexes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality.

Pursuant to Trump’s order, the Pentagon banned “transgenders” from serving in the military.
