The second night of the Democratic National Convention was not only almost too painful to watch, but also a reminder that Democrats completely lack the self-awareness that stops a person from uttering the ridiculous.
Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris said she would bring down the price of groceries as president — despite being vice president now. The obscenely rich Former First Lady Michelle Obama said rich people can’t be trusted. Senator Bernie Sanders, the Vermont socialist, cryptically denounced his own party.
In keeping with the party’s pushing the mentally ill into positions of prominence, a “trans woman” from New Jersey announced that delegates would vote for Harris, but blew his lines and bashed former President Donald Trump.
Best of all, the Daily Wire‘s Matt Walsh crashed the convention in disguise.
In other words, it was another great night for the party of abortion, cross-dressers, inflation, and high taxes.
Inflation Ignored
In her speech accepting the party nomination for president, Harris said “we believe in a future where we lower the cost of living! When I am president, I will bring down the cost of groceries.”
The Trump War Room X feed asked the obvious question: “Was there something stopping her from doing that in the 3.5 years she has been in the White House?”
Another user posted data on how prices have risen under Bidenomics. The price of gas rocketed skyward some 50.5 percent, the post reported, while the price of groceries has increased 21.6 percent. Electricity is up 31.7 percent:

• Fuel Oil: 49.1 percent
• Airfare: 22.6 percent
• Hotels: 51.2 percent
• Baby food: 30.1 percent
• Eating out: 23 percent
• K-12 food: 65.5 percent
The End Wokeness X feed reprised the Harris refrain that tougher policing does not increase a community’s safety. Video below Harris’ remark showed a battalion of police corralling leftist protesters to keep them away from the convention hall.
Madame Obama was worse in speaking about her mom and dad.
They “didn’t aspire to be wealthy,” mega-rich Obama said:
In fact, they were suspicious of folks who took more than they needed. They understood that it wasn’t enough for their kids to thrive if everyone else around us was drowning. So my mother volunteered at the local school.
Obama said her mother “was glad to do the thankless, unglamorous work that for generations has strengthened the fabric of this nation,” and was a firm believer in the Golden Rule — “the belief that if you do unto others, if you love thy neighbor, if you work and scrape and sacrifice, it will pay off. If not for you, then maybe for your children or your grandchildren.”
The Proud Army Brat X feed replied by reporting the Obamas’ net worth — $70 million — and the real estate they purchased through the years:
• Washington DC home bought for $8.1M
• Martha’s Vineyard home bought for $11.75M
• Beachfront home in Hawaii bought for $8.7M
• Chicago home bought for $1.65M
Total spent on the four luxurious homes: $30.2 million.
The Trump War Room also noted that incandescent hypocrisy, but in any event Obama also claimed that Trump isn’t qualified to be president because he isn’t black.
“Who’s gonna tell him, who’s gonna tell him, that the job he’s currently seeking might just be one of those black jobs,” she said to the wild applause of the racialist conventioneers.
Matt Walsh Crashes Party
In yet another winning moment for the party, it put up a “trans woman” called Joeigh Perella, to announce New Jersey’s vote for Harris. But Perella, obsessed with himself and Trump, fumbled his lines.
“My name is Dr. Joeigh Perella, pronouns she, her, hers,” the confused delegate said:
I’m a proud resident of the Garden State. I’m proud to stand with Kamala Harris and Tim Walz because they stand with the LGBTQ community. It’s time to turn the page on Trump for … thank you.
And in what was an amusing, if not cringeworthy, moment for party elites, Sanders denounced billionaires who can buy elections.
“Billionaires in both parties should not be able to buy elections, including primary elections,” Sanders said, obviously aware that he referred to megawealthy Democrats, including Hollywood bigshots, who pulled $90 million in donations to push party elites into removing Joe Biden from the presidential race to install Harris.
Equally amusing, Walsh crashed not only the convention but also CNN reporter Kaitlin Collins’ interview with Senator Chuck Schumer of New York.
Wearing a pony-tail wig, a Harris for president ball cap, and White Dudes for Harris T-Shirt, Walsh walked into the background as Schumer delivered the ritual denunciation of Trump. Walsh also wore “Vote To Fix The Court” and “Freedom from gun violence” buttons on his sport coat.
The Daily Mail spotted a now-deleted X post that identified the conservative journalist.
“(Matt Walsh) is at the DNC posing as a delegate. DO NOT TALK TO HIM,” a Walsh hater wrote on X. “Call him out! Tell security if you can … spread the word!!! #hatemonger #fake #loser.”
A leftist GOP Biden voter that Walsh is “weird — and a creep.”
Just before midnight last night, an X user posted the party’s main concerns by recording how many times certain subjects came up.
Far in the lead was Trump, of course, whom Democrats pounded 147 times. In contrast, viewers heard about the economy only 27 times. Party leaders virtually ignored the nation’s other pressing issues.
Crime, prices, inflation, and the southwest border were mentioned just 22 times — combined.
