Clinton Accuser Broaddrick Doubts Allegation Against Kavanaugh

Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) quickly backtracked after blurting out that she “can’t say everything is truthful” about Christine Blasey Ford’s story of attempted rape by Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. But the horse had slipped its tether and galloped out of the barn.

Two others can say and think Ford’s story is nonsense.

Juanita Broaddrick (shown), the woman who accused former President Bill Clinton of rape, said her own experience leads her to believe the story doesn’t ring true. Unlike Ford, neither the media nor the Democrats paid much attention to Broaddrick.

Mark Judge, whom Ford claims was in the room when Kavanaugh tried to rape her, said the story is “absolutely nuts” and has told the Senate Judiciary Committee that his inability to remember any such event means he doesn’t need to testify.

Broaddrick Says Ford’s Story Is Nonsense
Some psychologists say Ford’s tale, and waiting to tell it, is consistent with the behavior of victims after such an attack.

After Ford admitted she didn’t remember key details about the supposed attack, the Washington Post dutifully found sources, as The New American reported, to say victims often can’t remember things, and anyway, the only thing she really has to remember is that she was attacked. Other details aren’t important.

One psychologist told the Post that it “may be challenging to recall peripheral details of an assault years later … but that should not detract from a victim’s veracity ‘if she can clearly and consistently articulate central details of what happened, such as the who, what and where.’”

Broaddrick does not agree. She told the Daily Caller she doesn’t believe the leftist psychology professor, and for the same reason that some do. Broaddrick “cited Ford’s timing and lack of firm details in her retelling of the account.”

“They wanted the sensationalism in the 11th hour,” Broaddrick said of Senate Democrats sitting on the sexual-misconduct allegation throughout Kavanaugh’s lengthy confirmation hearing. “This woman came forward and they held it till now. This is a weaponization of the sexual assault.”

Of particular note to Broaddrick — who, unlike Ford, told friends about Clinton’s attack right afterward — was Ford’s inability to remember where the party was or who was there.

“When I went through her accounting of what had happened, I cannot imagine not knowing where you were and who was there and when it happened,” she told The DC. “I remember everything that had happened to me. Friends found me immediately after the rape and witnessed the condition I was in. I remember all the specifics, the exact time it happened, 8:30 in the morning.”

Ford said she can’t remember how she got to the party or who drove her home.

Judge Says It Didn’t Happen
As The New American reported earlier this week, Kavanaugh’s high-school friend writer Mark Judge says the attack didn’t happen.

“I never saw anything like what was described,” Judge told the New York Times, noting that what Ford described simply doesn’t fit with the man Kavanaugh is or was. “It is not who he is,” Judge said.

Judge said likewise to the Weekly Standard, the anti-Trump neocon outlet: “It’s just absolutely nuts. I never saw Brett act that way.”

That’s why Judge doesn’t want to testify before the Judiciary Committee and says he won’t do so. Judge’s attorney explained in a terse letter to committee chieftain Senator Charles Grassley (R-Iowa): “I did not ask to be involved in this matter nor did anyone ask me to be involved,” Judge said. “The only reason I am involved is because Dr. Christine Blasey Ford remembers me as the other person in the room during the alleged assault.”

Judge repeated what he has already said: “I have no memory of this alleged incident. Brett Kavanaugh and I were friends in high school but I do not recall the party described in Dr. Ford’s letter.”

And then Judge repeated what he told the New York Times and the Weekly Standard: “I never saw Brett act in the manner Dr. Ford describes. I have no more information to offer the Committee and I do not wish to speak publicly regarding the incidents described in Dr. Ford’s letter.”

What Judge wants won’t matter if the committee compels him to appear with a subpoena, which it can also do with Ford, who has also declined to testify until the FBI probes her three-decade old allegation.
