Biden Falsely Claims He Didn’t Proclaim “Transgender Day of Visibility”

Last week, President Joe Biden proclaimed that March 31, Easter Sunday this year, would be “Transgender Day of Visibility.” It was yet another mud pie hurled in the face of decency and normal Americans who celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

But after a furious reaction to the proclamation, including those from House Speaker Mike Johnson and GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump, Biden said he didn’t do it.

His handlers say the GOP is spreading “misinformation.” The facts say otherwise, not least Biden’s proclamation.

The Proclamation

“Good Catholic” Biden has been obsessed with “transgenders” from Day 1 of his administration, as several high-level appointments and his packing the military with “trans women” — meaning men who wear dresses and lipstick — well show.

Thus, Biden’s proclamation was hardly a surprise.

“On Transgender Day of Visibility, we honor the extraordinary courage and contributions of transgender Americans and reaffirm our Nation’s commitment to forming a more perfect Union — where all people are created equal and treated equally throughout their lives,” he began

I am proud that my Administration has stood for justice from the start, working to ensure that the LGBTQI+ community can live openly, in safety, with dignity and respect. I am proud to have appointed transgender leaders to my Administration and to have ended the ban on transgender Americans serving openly in our military. I am proud to have signed historic Executive Orders that strengthen civil rights protections in housing, employment, health care, education, the justice system, and more. I am proud to have signed the Respect for Marriage Act into law, ensuring that every American can marry the person they love.

Biden claimed that “extremists are proposing hundreds of hateful laws that target and terrify transgender kids and their families — silencing teachers; banning books; and even threatening parents, doctors, and nurses with prison for helping parents get care for their children,” that “transgenders” are dealing with “worsening” mental health, and that an “epidemic of violence” against “trans women” and “trans girls,” notably minorities, “continues to take too many lives.”

After the obligatory demand “to codify civil rights protections for all LGBTQI+ Americans,” Biden told the put-upon fringe group that “You are loved. You are heard. You are understood. You belong. You are America, and my entire Administration and I have your back.”

Thus did “JOSEPH R. BIDEN JR., President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim March 31, 2024, as Transgender Day of Visibility.”

Reaction

Understandably, reaction was swift.

“The Biden White House has betrayed the central tenet of Easter — which is the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” House Speaker Mike Johnson wrote on X the next day:

Banning sacred truth and tradition — while at the same time proclaiming Easter Sunday as “Transgender Day” — is outrageous and abhorrent. The American people are taking note.

Later, when a reporter asked Biden about Johnson’s comments, Biden replied that “he’s thoroughly uninformed.”

“I didn’t do that,” he declared.

In damage-control mode, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre denounced the “misinformation” and said that the Transgender Day of Visibility “happened to coincide” with Easter, the date of which changes annually.

Other Biden defenders noted that the day has been “celebrated” on March 31 since 2009. That’s when “transgender” activist Rachel Crandall Crocker — a psychotherapist who needs a headshrinker himself and somewhat resembles Oswald Cobblepot — declared that all must pledge allegiance to transgender ideology.

But Biden was the first president to declare it an official day in the United States in 2021

Biden’s “I didn’t do that” invited the obvious commentary.

“Hey @JoeBiden  — you not only ‘did that’ as you can see in the White House news announcement below but you posted it right here on @X: https://x.com/potus/status/1774511985700352189?s=46,” commentator Robbie Starbuck wrote:

As if what you did wasn’t bad enough, now you’re gaslighting America. You’re insane, incompetent, evil or maybe all 3.

“Wait a minute, he said that didn’t happen! He said he didn’t do that,” DeSantis replied to a reporter’s question at a news conference. “Which raises the question that he’s either not being honest with the public or he really didn’t know what was going on.”

Continued DeSantis:

“Who’s running the presidency? Is it a bunch of woke, 20-something-year-old White House staffers that just put out this drivel whenever they want? So I don’t know who’s in charge. The fact that he’s not owning up to it — either way, it’s bad. Either he’s not being honest, or really didn’t have anything to do with it,” DeSantis said.

Speaking to supporters in Green Bay, Wisconsin, yesterday, Trump declared that November 5 would be known as “Christian Visibility Day” after Christians go to the polls:

What the hell was Biden thinking when he declared Easter Sunday to be Trans Visibility Day? Such total disrespect to Christians. And Nov. 5 is going to be called something else. You know what it’s going to be called? Christian Visibility Day, when Christians turn out at numbers that nobody has ever seen before. Let’s call it Christian Visibility Day.

Reaction to Biden’s disclaimer aside, given his dementia, he might not remember his proclamation.

As for “transgenders,” Biden’s obsession is a national security threat. Aside from appointing Richard Levine, a “trans woman” who “identifies” as “Rachel,” to the No. 2 position at Health and Human Services, Biden ordered the armed services to permit “transgenders” to serve openly.

As a practical matter, that means permitting the mentally ill to control not only fully automatic weapons but also explosives and weapons of mass destruction.
