A Harris-Biden Administration: Did the Candidate Let the Cat Out of the Bag?

Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris agree.

Biden will play second fiddle in a “Harris-Biden” administration if they prevail against President Trump on election day.

Perhaps mistakenly revealing an unspoken truth, the two candidates have suggested Harris will run the show while Biden plays Mah Jongg in the Oval Office.

Harris-Biden
As Breitbart reported, Biden either gaffed again or let the cat out of the bag during a speech to veterans in Florida.

Biden, who finagled five draft deferments during the Vietnam War, told the veterans that his administration — or Harris’ — will be a vet’s comrade-in-arms.

“It’s so much harder for military spouses to find good jobs and build their careers,” Biden said. “We have to change that and we’re working on it … for example making it easier to carry your professional credentials with you, from one state to another, when your spouse moves.”

Then came the slip of the tongue, or perhaps the unpleasant truth. Harris, not Biden, will run the show at 1600 Pennsylvania:

The Harris-Biden administration will relaunch that effort and make it easier for military spouses and veterans to find meaningful careers, to ensure teachers know how to support military children in the classroom, and to improve support for caregivers and survivors so much more than we do now.

Earlier this week, Harris said something similar, although she corrected herself:

We need to make sure you have a president in the White House who actually sees you, who understands your needs, who understands the dignity of your work, and who has your back. A Harris Administration together with Joe Biden as the president of the United States, the Biden-Harris Administration will have access, provide access to $100 billion in low-interest loans and Investments for minority business owners.

Biden’s Mental Acuity
As Breitbart observed, the question about these inadvertent remarks is whether they reveal what will happen should the duo land in the White House.

Biden will be 78 years old if inaugurated in January, the time in life when most Americans are either retired and enjoying the leisure life — or sometimes living the rest of their days in a dementia-related fog.

Last week, a former secretary for Biden told the Washington Free Beacon that Biden was deteriorating mentally. “It is a complete difference from what he was in 2017,” stenographer Mike McCormick said. “He’s lost a step and he doesn’t seem to have the same mental acuity as he did four years ago.”

“He doesn’t have the energy, he doesn’t have the pace of his speaking. He’s a different guy.”

And McCormick isn’t the only Democrat who thinks so.

As The New American reported in May, financial scribe Matthew Stoller, a supporter of Bernie Sanders, tweeted that “Democratic insiders know Biden has cognitive decline issues. They joke about it. They don’t care.”

Leftist Ted Rall flatly wrote that Biden is unfit for the presidency: “Democrats are conspiring to gaslight the American people by engineering the election of a man clearly suffering from dementia.”

Biden’s repeated gaffes make the point, as does his using a teleprompter to answer an obviously scripted question at a town hall, as TNA reported last week.

Thus, the question about the two slips: Did Biden and Harris reveal what Biden might have admitted, and the Harris-Biden team might have already discussed: The old boy is, at least, slipping, if not sundowning — symptom of Alzheimer’s disease — and Harris will take over. Sleepy Joe has neither the stamina nor the mental faculties for the grueling job. He’ll spend most of the day napping, watching MSNBC, and solving puzzles for ages five and up.

“Biden himself has indulged such speculation by asserting that the major reason he picked Harris is because she is ‘ready to lead on day one,’” as Breitbart observed.

Why keep Biden running? The Democrats have no choice. Trump must be defeated. Better to keep the 77-year-old in the basement, except for a photo-op or two and friendly interviews, until election day. If the Harris-Biden ticket wins, he takes the oath on January 20, then settles back in his rocking chair for a long snooze while Harris goes to work wrecking the country.

She is, after all, “ready to lead on day one.”
