Leftists severely afflicted with Musk Derangement Syndrome (MDS), a mental illness that strongly correlates to and affects the same people afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome, aren’t just threatening violence against Tesla tycoon Elon Musk and wrecking his cars and dealerships. Of late, the deranged are threatening Tesla owners.
Furious that Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency has shut off the spigot of taxpayer money to far-left nongovernmental organizations, leftists have created a website to dox Tesla owners nationwide.
The website not only reveals their addresses and phone numbers; it also encourages vandalism and violence against them. But that isn’t all. It also doxxed DOGErs working to stop the widespread waste, fraud, and abuse of taxpayer money.
Even worse, far-left Democratic Representative Jasmine Crockett of Texas wants Musk “taken down” on her birthday. Democratic Minnesota Governor Tim Walz wants Tesla stock to tank, despite his state’s ownership of more than two million shares.
The Website
Of the threats against Tesla World thus far, the DOGEQUEST website appears to be the most dangerous, given that it released information about thousands of Tesla owners and encouraged violence against them.
404 Media exposed the DOGEQUEST early this week.
It “has posted on a searchable map what it claims to be the names, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses of Tesla owners across the United States,” the website reported:
The map also includes the addresses of Tesla dealerships, the rough locations of Tesla superchargers, and the personal information of employees of the Elon Musk-headed Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
The veracity of much of the data is unclear. 404 Media has verified that at least some of the people listed on the site are Tesla owners or supporters of the company or Musk, but it is not clear if every person listed is. The addresses of several Tesla dealerships checked by 404 Media were correct. 404 Media found some plots on the map don’t correspond correctly to their real world locations.
404 Media rightly observed that the site will intimidate if not terrify Tesla owners, given the “Tesla Takedown” protests that have been organized nationwide and the terror attacks against dealerships.
The website encourages vandalism and terrorism, 404 Media reported.
“If you’re on the hunt for a Tesla to unleash your artistic flair with a spray can, just step outside — no map needed!” DOGEQUEST says:
At DOGEQUEST, we believe in empowering creative expressions of protest that you can execute from the comfort of your own home.”
Ominously, the site’s cursor, 404 Media reported, is a Molotov cocktail, a clear invitation for violence.
Sadly, even Tesla owners who suffer with MDS feel threatened. “I can imagine the purpose is to harass and threaten perceived supporters of Elon, which I emphatically am not,” one such owner told 404 Media. “As much as I can hate a stranger, I hate that guy.”
“DOGEQUEST claims that it will remove a person’s data if they provide proof that they’ve sold their Tesla,” 404 Media reported:
Under the heading “I want my information removed,” the site says “Absolutely! Just provide us with proof that you’ve sold your Tesla.”
Musk called the effort what it is, “domestic terrorism,” and Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino said the bureau is investigating.
Crockett Goes All In
Meanwhile, there’s Jasmine Crockett, the unhinged congresswoman.
“I am truly here for very selfish reasons,” she began her rant in a Tesla Takedown meeting:
Starting with, on March 29th, it’s my birthday. And all I want to see happen on my birthday is for Elon to be taken down. … I have learned, as I serve on the DOGE oversight committee, that there is only one language that the people that are in charge understand right now, and that language is money.
X users accused Crockett of using language that could encourage violence.
The Tesla Takedown website claims its goals are peaceful, and encourages visitors to sell their Teslas and Tesla stock to destroy the company.
In keeping with that message, Walz told an audience of MDS sufferers that he added Tesla to the iPhone app that monitors stocks. He checks it “to give me a little boost during the day.”
Amusingly, Fox News’ Bill Melugin observed that Minnesota is a major Tesla shareholder.
“As Gov. Walz gloats about Tesla stock dropping, records from the Minnesota State Board of Investment show that as of 6/30/24, the state of Minnesota had 1.6 million shares of Tesla in its retirement fund, and 211,000 shares of Tesla in its non-retirement fund,” he wrote:
I’ve reached out to Walz’s office to ask if MN still holds $TSLA, or if they’ve sold since then. Will update when I hear back.
Walz also called Musk a “dips**t” and a “South African nepo baby.”
Responding to Walz’s deranged remarks, former Democratic U.S. Representative Dean Phillips, who represented Minnesota’s 3rd District, told NewsNation that he doesn’t “recognize my party.”
“I don’t recognize its principles,” he said, noting that the party is “rudderless”:
What I saw my governor and friend, Tim Walz, say today was appalling. … I liked Tim for a long time, but this is nonsense. …
The tanking of Tesla stock — not only does that hurt a lot of Minnesotans who have their money in pension funds, it hurts Tesla employees. This is one of the world’s foremost innovative companies based in the United States of America.
No elected official should ever demean an American company like that. It’s nonsensical.
Phillips said Walz should not have called a U.S. citizen of 20 years, who created remarkably successful companies, a “South African nepo baby.”
On X, Phillips said Walz hurt the party:
Objecting to his initiative is one thing, but calling [Musk], a US citizen who’s built some of the most innovative companies in world history, a “South African nepo baby,” is a great way to lose even more Democrats.
The name-calling from Walz is something of a mystery. Musk is a genius with an IQ of about 160, some analysts say. But Walz is known as “Tampon Tim” because he signed a bill that mandates the installation of tampon dispensers in boys’ restrooms in public schools. Walz believes boys have menstrual cycles.
