Subversives inside federal law enforcement are leaking plans for big-city illegal-alien raids by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and other agencies.

On Friday, the immigrant-owned Los Angeles Times reported that ICE would raid the city in February.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem strongly suggested that she knows the leaker is a rogue FBI agent or agents.

A leak also undermined a raid in Aurora, Colorado, where ICE could have arrested more than 100 Tren de Aragua (TdA) gang members.

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said the leaks endanger the lives of agents, and that leakers will be prosecuted.

The Times Story

Citing a leaked document, the Times reported that ICE would target illegal aliens and those with orders of removal.

“Although immigration operations have been ramped up across the country since President Trump took office, no sweeping actions have taken place in L.A., a city Trump repeatedly criticized during his presidential campaigns,” the newspaper reported.

Two subversives blabbed to the Times, one still working, the other a “former official.”

One said the FBI and DEA would assist in the raids, as “they needed more bodies.” Continued the Times:

A former federal law enforcement official, who said they had been informed about the recent preparations but spoke on the condition of anonymity fearing retaliation, also said FBI agents were being ordered to participate in pending ICE “raids” in Los Angeles. Neither of the officials could provide an exact time frame for the potential actions.

The active federal law enforcement official warned that plans could change due to the “chaotic” nature of the Trump administration’s first few weeks in power and expected pushback from within some of the agencies that will be required to aid ICE.

“Just because certain information is being given doesn’t mean it’s the administration’s plan, because they know some agents are going to be resistant,” the official said.

The FBI has been helping “since the end of January,” the Times reported, citing an FBI spokesman. Also involved are the Drug Enforcement Administration and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Reposting the Times’ X post about the raids, Noem did everything but finger an apparent subversive inside the FBI.

“The FBI is so corrupt,” she wrote:

We will work with any and every agency to stop leaks and prosecute these crooked deep state agents to the fullest extent of the law.

Speaking to Fox News yesterday, Pam Bondi explained that the leakers risked the lives of agents.

“Well, you know, if anyone leaks anything, people don’t understand that it jeopardizes the lives of our great men and women in law enforcement. And if you leaked it, we will find out who you are, and we will come after you,” Bondi said. “It’s not going to stop our mission. It’s not going to stop the president’s mission to make America safe again.”

Bondi also explained the crime the leakers committed:

It very well could rise to the level of obstruction. And we will be looking at every single case where someone jeopardizes the lives of the great men and women in law enforcement, and you will be held accountable. If you leak, if you do anything, … if you come out with bullhorns that could jeopardize their lives, we will investigate it, and we will come after you.

Aurora Raid Compromised

Federal authorities suffered a setback last week. The leak in that case forced border czar Tom Homan to say he might stop the media from accompanying agents on raids, the Washington Examiner reported.

When ICE raided apartment complexes in Aurora, Colorado, a major beachhead for TdA thanks to subsidies from the Biden administration, the agency expected to bag more than 100 gang members. But thanks to a leak, they had scattered and ICE collared just one gang member and arrested 30 other illegals.

“It’s all about Op-Sec, operation security. So, we may have to stop the media ride-alongs because — I’m not pointing the finger at them — but the less people that know about these operations, the safer this [is] for our agents,” Homan told reporters the next day.

Acting ICE Director Caleb Vitello said TdA “probably” knew about the raid, the Examiner reported.

NBC News reported that “the Aurora operation was called off temporarily due to media leaks. One source said the leaks posed an operational security risk for officers involved.”

Homan told Fox News’ Harris Faulkner that he had identified the leaker.

“I’m addressing Op-Sec today,” he said:

Operation security. How these leaks are happening. We’ve already identified how this operation got leaked. I’ll deal with that today…. It’s obvious we can’t be having all these different news outlets out there with us on various raids. … We got a lot of Op-Sec concerns we’re dealing with right now.

Homan also said he would begin arresting protesters who impede ICE agents who are attempting to arrest illegals:

We’re not going to tolerate it anymore. This is not a game when we show up at these sites. This is a dangerous job for the men and women of ICE and Border Patrol and all the DOJ agencies. To have this type of interference puts our officers at great risk. Not only the officers, [but] it puts the aliens at great risk because anything can happen when we take our eyes off the goal here….

[This is] not a joke, this is serious business. And they need to stop, or we’re going to prosecute them through [the] Department of Justice.
