As communists and anarchists continue their “peaceful” protests in Los Angeles, California, Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom continues blaming the Trump administration for daring to enforce federal immigration law.
Vice President J.D. Vance had a reply today on X. Newsom and his “stooge,” L.A. Mayor Karen Bass, “fomented and encouraged” the riots because keeping illegal aliens in the nation is Democratic policy.
White House aide Stephen Miller roasted Bass as well. And increasingly sensible Pennsylvania Democratic Senator John Fetterman denounced the “anarchy” and “chaos.”
Nor is Trump’s having to call in another 2,000 National Guardsmen and 700 Marines to protect the city a good look for a party that took a brutal beating in the last election. But that troop surge might be needed. Rioters now have tactical gear to battle police and federal forces.
Vance’s X Post
Last night, Newsom announced on X that he had deployed 800 more state and local cops to the city “to clean up the mess” Trump created.
But Trump, of course, didn’t make the mess. Newsom and his Democratic Party did — the one led by Joe Biden that unlawfully permitted an invasion of tens of millions of illegals that Trump is attempting to round up and deport.
Vance had an answer for Newsom. A long one.
“Gavin Newsom says he didn’t have a problem until Trump got involved,” he wrote over photographs of rioters attacking a police car and another car ablaze. Both were taken, he wrote, before Trump federalized 2,000 National Guardsmen and deployed them to the city.
Continued Vance:
Newsom and his stooge Karen Bass fomented and encouraged the riots, because their entire political movement exists for one purpose: to promote mass migration into our country. It is their reason for being. Democratic leadership has no solution for the economy, for prosperity, or for security. They use their power when they’re in the majority to import millions of illegal immigrants and when they’re in opposition they do everything possible to prevent deportations.
Under Newsom’s leadership, medicaid was extended to all illegal immigrants in 2024. This means that he elected to take healthcare from impoverished and disabled Californians and give it to illegal aliens. And now, everything is President Trump’s fault? Give me a break.
Stop blaming Trump, Vance wrote, and “look in the mirror” if you want to know who provided the incentive for illegals to flood the state. “If you want to know why border patrol fear for their lives over enforcing the law, look in the mirror,” Vance continued:.
It was your policies that encouraged mass migration into California. Your policies that protected those migrants from common sense law enforcement. Your policies that offered massive welfare benefits to reward illegal immigrants. Your policies that allowed those illegal migrants (and their sympathizers) to assault our law enforcement. Your policies that allowed Los Angeles to turn into a war zone.
You sure as hell had a problem before President Trump came along.
The problem is YOU.
Stephen Miller Responds to Bass
Miller’s post appeared over video of “stooge” Bass — once a member of a group that was a front for Cuban intelligence. He explained that the mayor was, for all intents and purposes, offering the “definition of insurrection.”
“We need to stop the raids. This should not be happening in our city,” Bass claimed:
It is not warranted and … the only thing it does is contribute to chaos. This was chaos that was started in Washington, D.C. On Thursday, the city was peaceful. On Friday, it was not — because of the intervention of the federal government.
Miller explained the subtext of Bass’ remarks. That is that the violence won’t stop until federal authorities stop attempting to enforce federal immigration law.
“The threat being made here by Mayor Bass is explicit,” Miller wrote:
The Mayor of LA is effectively saying the mob violence is caused by the mere presence of ICE in the city and the violence against ICE will not stop unless federal law enforcement is withdrawn from the city. This is the definition of insurrection.
He noted that far-left Democratic leaders in the city and state want
the right to illegally import unlimited foreigners into America, to control America’s entire immigration policy by fiat — and if they are not so permitted they will allow mobs to target ICE with impunity. Los Angeles and California are demanding the nullification of the election results, of federal law, [and] of national sovereignty.
A Sensible Dem?
Democratic Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman said his party has surrendered the “moral high ground.”
“I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations, and immigration — but this is not that,” Fetterman wrote on X:
This is anarchy and true chaos.
My party loses the moral high ground when we refuse to condemn setting cars on fire, destroying buildings, and assaulting law enforcement.
Looting; More Troops; Rioters Gear Up
Bass and Newsom can’t explain, of course, why the looters are rampaging through the city because federal authorities are attempting to enforce the law. But in any event, the continued violence and anarchy pushed Trump into sending 2,000 more Guardsmen to the city, along with 700 combat Marines.
At this writing, the Marines had not yet clashed with the “peaceful protesters,” The Associated Press reported.
As The New American reported yesterday, Trump is considering invoking the Insurrection Act, which would permit the deployment of the armed forces to deal with the criminals attempting to block the deportation of illegal aliens — notably the rapists, murderers, and other criminals whom Biden invited into the country.
The anarchists and communists running amok in Los Angeles might leave Trump no choice. Malevolent outside sources are providing gear to fight the cops and federal forces. The city’s Fox 11 reported that masked goons distributed riot shields and gas masks to rioters.
“We just saw people arrive in Downtown L.A. with truck loads of Bionic Face Shields that demonstrators quickly grabbed,” anchorman Elex Michaelson reported:
It certainly seems like gear you’d wear if you’re preparing for conflict with police.
Who is funding this?
