Pastor Stephen Broden interviews Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson at the March for Jobs rally that took place in Washington, D.C., on July 15, 2013. Peterson talks about the “Amnesty Bill” that is currently in the House, which would provide legal citizenship for all illegal immigrants currently in the United States. He demonstrates that passage of this bill would devastate the black community, which is already struggling with high unemployment. Peterson says that liberals and black leaders, even the Black Caucus, have “sold out” the black community in order to gain power and votes for themselves, and the black community needs to wake up and take action.
