A U.S. congressman doxed an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent to the mob of rioters who attacked ICE agents during last week’s raid on a marijuana farm in Carpinteria, California.

The culprit, ICE alleged on X, is far-left Democrat Salud Carbajal of California. Carbajal claims he was performing “oversight” that pro-illegal-alien Democrats are using to disrupt ICE operations. His possibly unlawful move came as two Senate Democrats introduced a bill to dox agents.

Meanwhile, the Department of Homeland Security reported that among the illegals arrested in the raid is a previously deported attempted rapist. As well, DHS updated the number of illegals bagged in the raids to almost 400, and the children rescued to 14.

Illegals Arrested

On July 10, ICE raided the Glass House Brands farms in Carpinteria and Camarillo, California. That sent Democrats into a frothing rage.

For instance, Democratic Representative Jimmy Gomez falsely claimed that ICE had raided innocent workers who were picking strawberries, which elicited a brutal takedown from the White House.

But even if the illegals had been picking strawberries — again, they were picking the Devil’s Lettuce — they are still illegal aliens, and a number of them are dangerous criminals, as DHS reported in its update.

Agents arrested 371 illegals and rescued 14 kids. DHS released the names of four cultural enrichers, three of them Mexicans, and the crimes they committed:

  • Roman Izquierdo of Mexico: deported in 2006, kidnapping, attempted rape, and attempted child molestation.
  • Mexican Juan Duarte-Velasquez: rape, DUI;
  • Adriana Gonzalez-Gonzalez, Mexico: burglary three times, DUI; and,
  • Salvadoran Jose Orellana: hit-and-run, DUI.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) chief Rodney Scott elaborated on Izquierdo’s criminal career: “7 yrs for kidnapping & attempted rape, w/ a prior conviction for attempted child molestation. And this felon was working at the same farm as 10 kids — one being 14 yrs old.”

Rioters Arrested

Four rioting goons were also arrested. One fired a gun at the agents in Camarillo.

And, not surprisingly, one of those arrested is a college professor.

The California Faculty Association falsely claimed that Jonathan Caravello of California State University Channel Islands was “kidnapped.” Not true, said Bill Essayli, U.S. attorney for the Central District of California.

He “was not ‘kidnapped’ by federal agents,’” Essayli wrote on X:

He was arrested for throwing a tear gas canister at law enforcement. He is charged with a violation of 18 USC 111.

Essayli also announced that the FBI will pay $50,000 to anyone with information that leads to the conviction of the shooter.

Carbajal’s Obstruction

After the raid, Carbajal claimed that ICE was too “aggressive.”

“Yesterday in Carpinteria, I witnessed ICE agents using unnecessarily aggressive and militarized tactics against local farm workers and peaceful protesters,” the open-borders congressman wrote on X:

It was appalling. This is not how we keep our communities safe.

As a Member of Congress, I have the legal right to oversee federal operations. Yet, I was denied entry.

What he was “entering” isn’t clear, but ICE set the record straight:

Carbajal was part of a violent mob of protestors attempting to obstruct federal law enforcement as they executed a criminal search warrant at a marijuana facility. He cites “peaceful” protestors, when in fact these rioters were launching rocks at officers, injuring at least one ICE employee who was left bloody.

According to agents on the ground, the congressman doxed that same ICE employee by sharing his business card with members of the violent mob.

THIS is precisely the rhetoric that has led to orchestrated attempts to murder officers and a 700% increase in officer assaults.

May the congressman’s constituency always remember he chooses violence over the rule of law.

Carbajal isn’t the first Democratic official to dox an ICE agent. So also did the far-left Democratic mayor of Nashville, Tennessee, Freddie O’Connell.

Yet Senators Alex Padilla of California and Cory Booker of New Jersey hope to make doxing unnecessary by requiring agents to dox themselves. They have introduced a bill to stop agents from wearing masks to protect their identities from dangerous far-left rioters who interfere with ICE operations.

Nor is Carbajal the first Democrat to interfere with an ICE operation then claim he was performing his constitutional duty of “oversight.” Far-left Democratic Representative LaMonica McIver of New Jersey rumbled with ICE agents at a detention facility. She faces three felony counts of assaulting a federal agent.

Big Democratic Donor

The president of Glass House Brands spends big bucks to elect friendly Democrats, Fox News reported. And one of them just happens to be Carbajal. The network reported:

Co-founder, president, and board director Graham Farrar, who self-identifies on social media as residing in Santa Barbara, California, has made numerous political donations to the Santa Barbara County Democratic Central Committee’s federal political action committee and Rep. Salud Carbajal, D-Calif., according to Federal Election Commission records.

According to California public campaign finance records, he also donated $10,000 to California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom in 2018, and his most recent public political donation was to California Democratic Assemblymember Gregg Hart in July 2023.

Glass House is now the target of a federal probe for violating child labor laws, CBP’s Scott tweeted.

However, “Glass House has never knowingly violated applicable hiring practices and does not and has never employed minors,” it claimed on X. “We do not expect this to affect operations moving forward. We will provide additional details when applicable.”

Newsom’s top political aide, Fox reported, noted that Glass House Brands CEO Kyle Kazan “is a Trump supporter who donated to the Governor’s recall and has given to more Republicans than Democrats.”
