The Biden “migrant” crime rampage is worsening in New York City. Now, what the New York Post terms a “a brutal crew of baby-faced Tren de Aragua migrant gangbangers,” carrying knives and firearms, are robbing pedestrians and tourists in Times Square and “getting away with it.”
The latest on the murderous Venezuelan gang, which is operating freely nationwide, is yet another indictment of the Biden-Harris administration’s deranged — and illegal — policy of importing millions of unvetted “migrants,” then turning them loose on unsuspecting Americans.
Shelter Base
“Nearly two dozen young migrant thugs, some as young as 11 years old, are part of a dangerous asylum-seeking brat pack that has graduated from purse snatchings to gunpoint heists targeting New Yorkers and tourists alike, a top NYPD official” told the newspaper:
But they’re managing to stay out of jail because of their ages and the Empire State’s lenient criminal justice laws, Detective Bureau Assistant Chief Jason Savino said.
“You have individuals that are brazen,” Savino said. “We know they have access to guns, evident by the fact that they’ve done gunpoint robberies and they’ve been brazen enough to showcase pistols in and around their social media.”
The top cop told the Post that the 21 kids are a pack who “hang out every day” and brag about their exploits on social media.
The thuglets call themselves Los Diablos de la 42, the Post reported, or the The Devils of 42nd Street. Cops have arrested them for 50 crimes, but not one — nada — is in jail.
“They committed the robberies [in] all the sexy places, in and around Central Park, in and around Times Square, in and around transit,” the cop told the Post. They target tourists.
The gang went from lightning “snatches” to “strong-armed robberies,” the cop said but now show knives “in a pack format.”
Cops are also worried that TdA will begin street warfare with the Latin Kings, a feud that began when a Latin King whacked a TdA member, or so police suspect.
Gang Tattoos
The gang “established a criminal foothold in the five boroughs [of Manhattan] in little more than a year, the Post explained.
They entered the country, obviously, with the millions of “migrants” whom President Joe Biden has permitted to enter the country since 2022.
“Members are told to get distinctive tattoos that mark them as members, with the body art typically including anchors, clocks, crowns and phrases that included the word ‘guerrero’ — which means warrior in Spanish but also pays homage to Hector ‘Nino’ Guerrero, the leader of the gang in Venezuela,” the Post continued.
The gang members sport tattoos of the number 23 to honor NBA players Michael Jordan and LeBron James. Jordan wore and James wears the number. Other tattoos feature bulls, a reference to the Chicago Bulls, Jordan’s team. The gang operates with impunity in the City of Big Shoulders, too.
”In New York, gang members exploited the city’s migrant shelter system, running robbery crews, as well as trafficking drugs, guns and sex workers under the noses of private security guards, according to sources,” the Post explained:
The Diablos crew out of the Roosevelt Hotel is guided by an older gangbanger, who recruits youngsters to pull off robberies before bringing back the loot — sometimes as part of an initiation into the gang, sources said.
The group’s members hang out in packs with the younger recruits, and will be there when the kids pull off a crime, perhaps steal a chain from a passerby. Punishment for failing could mean being forced to lick the floor of a city subway car or worse, Savino said.
The group brags about their crime online.
Amusingly, the gang is using Biden provided phones, some 300,000 of which went to “migrants” in 2022 alone.
Texas and Colorado
Cops have been familiar with TdA’s New York crime wave for some time. But police nationwide also must deal with the predictable result of Biden’s deranged immigration policy.
At least one of the Biden “migrants” charged in the brutal robbery of a woman in Dallas is a TdA member.
The gang took over a hotel in El Paso. Residents called police to the premises some 700 times.
When Texas Governor Greg Abbott declared the gang a terror outfit, the Lone Star State’s Director of Public Safety, Steve McCraw, said they multiply “like cockroaches.”
“These Venezuelan thugs are highly combative, violent, and certainly adaptable,” he said:
They’re always involved in situations that first start with human smuggling. Then they are involved in the extortion, kidnappings, rape, assaults, and sex trafficking of migrants.
In Aurora, Colorado, the gang took over multiple apartment complexes with subsidies from the Biden administration. Four Venezuelan Biden “migrants” arrested for attempted murder were TdA members.
TdA began as a prison gang in the Venezuelan state of Aragua, Insight Crime explains:
Between 2018 and 2023, Tren de Aragua built a transnational criminal network, setting up cells in Colombia, Peru, and Chile, with further reports of a sporadic presence in Ecuador, Bolivia, and Brazil.
Now courtesy of Biden and Kamala Harris it has established beachheads across the United States.
Recently asked whether she would “have done something differently than President Biden during the past four years,” Harris replied, “there is not a thing that comes to mind.”
