Free to work. Free to travel. Free to learn. Free to question. Free to speak. Free to pray. Free to say “no.”

So say the organizers of the massive Defeat the Mandates American Homecoming rally against the COVID-19 vax mandates that will take place in the nation’s capital on Sunday, January 23. The organizers of the event told The New American that they are expecting as many as 100,000 freedom-loving Americans to join in.

According to the event’s website, the goal of the rally is to peacefully protest against COVID vaccine mandates, vaccine passports, COVID vaccines for children, and censorship of reasonable medical debate. Participants will be marching in support of informed consent, recognition of natural immunity, and the doctor-patient relationship that should exist independent of government interference.

Many of the high-profile participants, such as practicing physicians and vaccine scientists, also express concern about the safety of the COVID vaccines, citing that as another reason to protest the mandates.

The latest data from the U.S. government’s Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) reveals more than one million adverse events following COVID vaccination, including nearly 22,000 deaths. That data is admitted by U.S. health authorities themselves to be underreported by a factor of 10. Steve Kirsh, a famed Silicon Valley philanthropist, executive director of the Vaccine Safety Research Foundation, a founder of the COVID-19 Early Treatment Fund, and a major donor of the rally, has estimated, using the CDC’s methodology, that the underreporting factor may be as high as 41. If that is true, then Dr. Ryan Cole, who will be speaking at the event, is right when he calls the COVID vaccination campaign unrolled in the United States “a crime against humanity” and a “poisonous attack on our population.”

The partners and sponsors of the rally include organizations that have been outspoken about the risks associated with COVID shots, heavy-handed government COVID response, and efficacy of early treatments. Among them is Global Covid Summit, which represents over 15,000 doctors and scientists around the world. The Summit met in September to sign a Declaration calling on medical decision-makers to stop preventing healthcare practitioners from prescribing effective, life-saving COVID treatments to their patients, implying that by doing so, they commit “crimes against humanity.”

The Summit released another Declaration in October, warning against vaccinating children for COVID and arguing that the risks associated with COVID vaccines far outweigh the benefits. The New American has covered the story here.

Another original organizer of the rally is Children’s Health Defense (CHD) headed by Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. According to its website, CHD sees the January 23 event as one of the steps in the ongoing pushback against government overreach. Besides participating in the D.C. rally, CHD encourages “concerned citizens around the world to Show up Strong at their statehouse for the first day of the 2022 legislative session” to let lawmakers know how many people are willing to “come together and peacefully assemble to stand against mandates.”

The rally is also supported by Frontline COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC Alliance), a group of world-renowned physicians who have been saving countless lives with hydroxychloroquine, heparin, and ivermectin.

The march starts at 11:30 a.m. Eastern at the Washington Monument, and will end at the Lincoln Memorial. The New American will be covering the rally and will be speaking with everyday Americans at the rally, as well as the nation’s top non-establishment doctors and scientists. The list includes:

• Dr. Robert Malone, mRNA technology architect,

• Dr. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Children’s Health Defense Board chair and lead counsel,

• Dr. Peter McCollough, a Dallas-based internist, cardiologist, and epidemiologist who manages cardiovascular complications of COVID-19 infection and the injuries developing as a result of the COVID-19 vaccine.

• Dr. Ryan Cole, a board-certified pathologist trained at the Mayo Clinic and CEO and medical director of Cole Diagnostics, one of the largest independent labs in the State of Idaho,

• Dr. Paul Alexander, the former COVID pandemic advisor to World Health Organization (2020) and former senior advisor to the White House, specifically for the COVID pandemic policy of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services,

• Dr. Paul Marik, founder and co-chief medical officer at Front Line COVID-19 Critical Care Alliance who was recently forced to sue his own hospital in order to be able to treat his COVID patients,

• Dr. Pierre Kory, a pulmonary and critical-care specialist who co-developed an effective, evidence-based COVID treatment protocol,

• Dr. Christina Parks, a Ph.D. in cellular and molecular biology, and

• Bret Weinstein, a revolutionary theorist, visiting fellow at Princeton University, author, and podcast host.

The list of speakers also includes the parents of two young COVID vaccine victims — Maddie Garay and Ernesto Ramirez, Jr. Maddie, a 12-year-old participant in the Pfizer COVID vaccine trial, was paralyzed less than 24 hours after her second shot and is now disabled for life. In the trial, Pfizer reported her injury as “abdominal pain.” None of the U.S. health authorities investigated the case. Ernesto, 16, died of an enlarged heart three days after receiving the Pfizer vaccine.

American Frontline NursesAirline Employees 4 Health Freedom, Feds for Medical Freedom (a group of federal employees resisting President Biden’s vaccine mandate), and some 200 D.C. firefighters and first responders from OperationFreedomofChoice.org will be joining the rally.

There will be some controversial figures attending the march, including BLM Greater New York Area chairperson Hawk Newsome — who threatened his city with an “uprising” over the local vaccine mandate back in September — and BLM Minnesota co-founder Trahern Crews.
