Once again, far-left “journalist” Taylor Lorenz, who used to write for The Washington Post, applauded last week’s murder of UnitedHealthcare chieftain Brian Thompson.

This time, she told TV talker Piers Morgan during his eponymous Uncensored television program that she felt joy that the husband and father went down in a hail of bullets.

The deranged remarks reprise what she wrote just after Thompson was gunned down. Accusing healthcare executives of “murder,” the unbalanced scribe wrote on Bluesky that “we want these executives dead.”

Lorenz Unhinged

Cops have charged Luigi Mangione with Thompson’s early-morning murder on December 4. The 50-year-old exec was about to enter his company’s investors meeting at the New York Hilton Midtown.

Immediately, as The New American reported, far left crackpots celebrated the crime, with Taylor spouting off as well.

“And people wonder why we want these executives dead,” Lorenz wrote on Bluesky, the leftist answer to X.

As Fox News reported, she reposted this sentiment from another unhinged leftist:

[H]ypothetically, would it be considered an actionable threat to start emailing other insurance CEOs a simple “you’re next”? Completely unrelated to current events btw.

And the disgraced reporter, who doxxed Libs of TikTok proprietress Chaya Raichik and sent her into hiding, wasn’t finished.

“People have very justified hatred toward insurance company CEOs because these executives are responsible for an unfathomable amount of death and suffering,” she wrote. “As someone against death and suffering, I think it’s good to call out this broken system and the ppl in power who enable it.”

Another sentiment from Lorenz fingered health insurance execs for murder: “Murder like what happens every year to thousands of Americans killed by greedy insurance executives denying their coverage.”

Worse still, she posted a photo of another insurance executive, which legal authorities might consider a death threat.

Joyful

Then came the appearance on Morgan’s program.

“Why would you be in such a celebratory mood about the execution of another human being?” Morgan asked Lorenz. “Aren’t you supposed to be on the caring, sharing left where, you know, you believe in the sanctity of life?”

Her answer shocked the veteran host:

I do believe in the sanctity of life and I think that’s why I felt, along with so many other Americans, joy unfortunately.

“Joy!? Seriously? Joy at a man’s execution?” the aghast host said.

Lorenz: Maybe not joy, but certainly not, no, certainly not empathy.

Morgan: How can this make you joyful? This guy is a husband, he’s a father, and he’s been gunned down in the middle of Manhattan. Why does that make you joyful?

Lorenz: So are the tens of thousands of Americans being murdered! So are the tens of thousands of Americans, innocent Americans, who died because greedy health insurance executives like this one push a policy of denying care to the most vulnerable people, and I am a part of the many millions of Americans that have watched people that I care about suffer and in some cases die because of lack of healthcare.

Morgan asked the obvious: Wouldn’t she be even more joyful with the murder of more health insurance execs?

Lorenz: Uh, no.

Morgan: Well, why not? Why are you laughing? You seem to find the whole thing hilarious. A bloke’s been murdered in the street. I don’t find it funny at all.

Lorenz: I don’t find it funny that tens of thousands of Americans die every year because they are denied life-saving healthcare from people like the CEO.

Lorenz later said she really wasn’t joyful at Thompson’s murder.

Still Wearing Masks

A sign that Lorenz is likely rowing around life on one oar is her insistence, in March, that the China Virus “pandemic” continues.

“I am wearing a single mask,” she wrote on X:

Double masking actually compromises the seal of an N95. And yes, I’ll continue masking as long as there’s a deadly and disabling airborne virus ripping through the U.S. We are still in a pandemic and I’m extremely high risk!

Lorenz wrote that note over video of her dancing with a mask … at a Pornhub party.
