Former Arizona Superintendent of Public Instruction Diane Douglas said parents should view the current pandemic as the “greatest opportunity of their lives” to take control over what their children are learning. In this exclusive interview with The New American magazine’s Alex Newman, Douglas urged parents to consider homeschooling and using online resources in place of government schools. Douglas, who serves on the board of Public School Exit, also went through the history of the individuals who orchestrated the government takeover of education. She talks about the proper way to teach reading, too. And she warns about the sexualization, dumbing down and indoctrination in government schools. Finally, she talks about how important it is for God to be at the center of true education.
