Libs of Tik Tok has posted myriad video evidence that public-school teachers are grooming schools kids to be homosexuals, or “identify” as “transgender” or “non-binary.”
But now, a school system in Wisconsin has joined the effort with an official policy. Parents are not permitted to know their kids’ “gender identity” if their “identity” at school differs from that at home.
Wisconsin Spotlight exposed the latest descent into madness last week in a report that detailed Eau Claire Area School District’s published policy of undermining parental authority.
Upshot: Teachers are not disclosing mental illness or emotional trouble that parents have a right to know.
Shut Up, Mom and Dad
The subversion of parental authority appears in a training slide, the website reported.
“Remember,” the slide says, “parents are not entitled to know their kids’ identities. That knowledge must be earned.”
What that means is unexplained, but the slide continued with this: ”Teachers are often straddling this complex situation. In ECASD, our priority is supporting the student.”
Three school-board candidates rightly slammed the policy for its “blatant disregard for parental rights and responsibilities that has been allowed to creep into our schools.”
The outrageous claim in the slide — that parents must “earn” knowledge about possibly mentally ill children — suggests that “schools are in control of children, not parents and families,” school officials will “pit teachers against parents,” and that what “goes on in the walls of ECASD is privileged information” to which parents are not entitled.
The schools answered with boilerplate woke leftism.
Schools must be “equitable, safe and inclusive for all students,” the superintendent said, and so-called LGBTQIA+ students have more mental illness than “straight students.”
That is exactly why parents need to know what’s going on. And why those kids need psychiatric intervention to disabuse them of their fantasies, not validation from leftist public-school bureaucrats trying to paint the world pink.
Madness in Madison
ECASD isn’t the only school district in the state with a record of trying to destroy the minds of children without parents’ knowing it, Wisconsin Spotlight reported.
In 2020, a court enjoined the Madison Metropolitan School District’s similar policy after parents sued to stop it. The case awaits action in the state’s highest court.
“The policy includes the following provisions,” website reported:
- Children of any age can transition to a different gender identity at school, by changing their name and pronouns, without parental notice or consent.
- District employees are prohibited from notifying parents, without the child’s consent, that their child has or wants to change gender identity at school, or that their child may be dealing with gender dysphoria.
- District employees are even instructed to deceive parents by using the child’s legal name and pronouns with family, while using the different name and pronouns adopted by the child in the school setting.
Tik Tok Videos
Bad as the policies are, the Tik Tok social media site is brimming with “non-binary,” “transgender” and other weirdo teachers and counsellors who brag about grooming children.
One frightening video features a clearly deranged teacher re-enacting what he does when a student “comes out” as “trans.” He does just what ECASD does: Hide the mental illness from the parents.
When the student says he hasn’t “come out” to his parents, the teacher assures him he won’t say thing to the parents. During parent-teacher conferences, the teacher will refer to the student by his legal name. But during class, the teacher will call the student by his “preferred” name so he always feels “comfortable, included, and safe.”
Another video features a teacher who complains that parents have approached legislators to get control of the leftists who are grooming and brainwashing children.
“A parent — not my boss,” the teacher says. “I don’t actually answer to them, so — get bent.”
