The far-left-wing cable network MSNBC abruptly fired weekend personality Tiffany Cross, who had hosted the show The Cross Connection on the network since 2020. Cross had become infamous for her racially charged rants disparaging Republicans — and white people in general.

Former Fox News personality Megyn Kelly recently referred to Cross as “the most racist person on television.”

Surprisingly, ratings don’t seem to be among the reasons that MSNBC parted ways with Cross, as her show, which aired on Saturdays from 10:00 am until noon ET, was reporting a 32% increase in viewership among viewers 25-54, a demographic much valued by advertisers.

Instead, according to one source, it seems that Cross and her bosses at the left-wing network had become “frayed.”

Citing sources inside MSNBC, Variety reported that network executives were “concerned about the anchor’s willingness to address statements made by cable-news hosts on other networks and indulging in commentary executives felt did not meet the standards of MSNBC or NBC News.”

One reading of that might be that they were growing tired of defending Cross’ race-baiting behavior. And this week, Cross made an exceptionally crass comment regarding the state of Florida and its governor, Ron DeSantis.

Speaking on Comedy Central with radio host “Charlemagne Tha God,” Cross stated: “Florida literally looks like the d—k of the country, so let’s get rid of Florida…. Let’s castrate Florida.”

The former MSNBC host had vicious words for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis as well.

“Ron DeStupid, Ron DeSantis, whatever you wanna call Florida man, he is so problematic,” she said. “He traffics in stupidity and ignorance, and I just think they are a problem for the rest of the country. Let’s get them out.”

In a statement, Cross claimed to be “disheartened” about her firing.

“I am disheartened to learn of MSNBC’s decision to cancel The Cross Connection, at such a crucial time — four days before the midterm elections. From the beginning, we were intentional about centering communities of color, elevating issues and voices often ignored by the mainstream media, and disrupting the echo chambers. As a result, viewers consistently made The Cross Connection MSNBC’s highest rated weekend show,” Cross wrote.

“Now is not the time to retreat to politics or journalism as usual. It is my hope that the last two years at MSNBC have been disruptive and transformative, changing how politics are discussed and making policy more digestible,” she continued.

“Disruptive and transformative” were two of the adjectives that the race-baiting organization Black Lives Matter used to describe itself.

Her Florida comments were hardly the first time that Cross had blundered in a dramatic way when dealing with the issues of the day. Just in the past month, Cross complained that a concussion received by Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was proof that white coaches were unconcerned with the health of black players.

Cross said that “white coaches” allowed Tagovailoa back onto the field only to suffer another concussion because they didn’t value “black bodies.”

Unfortunately for Cross and her crack research staff, they failed to ascertain that Tagovailoa is not black, but Samoan. In addition, Tagovailoa’s coach, Mike McDaniel is, in fact biracial — not white. McDaniel’s mother is white and his father is black.

So, Cross’ inability to check facts prior to opening her mouth could have been the reason MSNBC ultimately showed her the door. Cross filled a need for the network’s shrinking core audience — namely angry Democrats who look to blame every societal ill on race. She was, essentially, the weekend Joy Reid, who has also made a living out of bashing white people as the source of all evil.

When your anti-white schtick becomes too much for even MSNBC, that’s really saying something.

Cross once urged her leftist brethren to “pick up a weapon and get involved” in a “war” she surmised was coming “for the safety and lasting of the country.”

The truly racist Cross may land on her feet, though, as it appears as though another far-left news source — Cenk Uygur’s unintentionally hilarious “The Young Turks” — is said to be looking to hire her.
