A “transgender” Illinois man who made some shocking threats against children, Christians, and blacks was arrested by federal authorities after making an online video in which he allegedly threatened to shoot children in the manner of Audrey Hale, the trans-identifying woman who attacked the Covenant School in Nashville in March. Jason Lee Willie, who also goes by the female pseudonym Alexia N. Willie, was arrested on November 8.
Willie has been charged with 14 felony counts of Interstate Communication of a Threat to Injure. He had been arrested by local authorities in Illinois three times in 2023, twice in August and once in October, for disorderly conduct and for making unhinged threats. However, an Illinois judge released him with $0 bond due to Illinois’ new SAFE-T Act, which allows even violent offenders to walk free on no-cash bail.
After Willie was released in August, his roommate called the Perry County Sheriff’s Office and told them that Willie was learning how to procure and use firearms in an effort to follow through on his violent threats.
According to the indictment, Willie was inspired by Hale’s actions in Nashville.
“A person in Tennessee walked into one of your schools and shot up a bunch of your Christian daughters. That’s not the last of them if you don’t shut your f***ing mouth,” the indictment reported.
“We’re out here walking into your school, shooting your children, and I’m gonna tell you right now, I’m gonna be one of them and the FBI isn’t gonna stop me, but I’m gonna kill your children out here,” Willie said, according to the indictment.
The threats Willie made were unquestionably vile.
“There’s a lot of transgenders out here that are tired of being picked on and we’re going to go into the schools and we’re going to kill their f***ing children out here, and that’s the end of it. We’re at war,” he reportedly said.
“I guarantee I’ll be in the bathroom raping your Christian daughters,” the 47-year-old man said in an August video that he posted online, reportedly adding, “I catch your daughters in them bathrooms alone, I am gonna f*** them. I mean I am gonna f*** f*** them until they’re dead.”
In addition to targeting Christians and children, Willie also warned African-Americans that they were not safe either. Referring to blacks, he reportedly said, “They’re trash, they’re Christian trash. They’re transphobic, they’re homophobic. They’re no different than the f***ing white supremacists. That’s exactly who the f**k they are. Listen, Dave Chappelle and all the blacks out here, all the black people out here talking about trannies and s***, they ain’t no different than the white supremacists either. You all bow to the same cross.”
That wasn’t even the worst of Willie’s racism: “We’re going to war. We’re going to kill you. N***er, you can shut the f**k up. Because I guarantee you, you and your n****rs ain’t gonna do sh*t, and you can’t do sh*t. You don’t have the strength to take us on, I guarantee it. You gonna die, you understand that?”
Willie also made a video in which he threatened to inject “…your women with HIV in the restroom, n*****. I’m injecting them. As I walk by, as I walk by, I’m literally going like this and injecting them with HIV, I want you to know that.”
Willie even went international with his threats. In March, Uganda made it illegal to identify as LGBTQ in the nation.
“I am personally…coming to Uganda, and when I get down there, I’m going to assassinate all the Parliament members,” Willie reportedly ranted. “And if you want Kenya to stay safe then I advise you not to follow in Uganda’s footsteps.”
He has allegedly been making threats to kill people who discriminate against transgenders since 2018.
