Once again, residents of New York City have learned the consequences of permitting communist Hungarian billionaire George Soros to buy the election of state and local attorneys general. This time, the Manhattan district attorney’s office — led by pro-crime Soros torpedo Alvin Bragg — freed a gang of illegal aliens who beat the living daylights out of two cops.

Police, understandably, are fuming. No matter, the voters put Bragg in office, and now cops and other crime victims pay the price.

And New York Governor Kathy Hochul needed a heck of a lot of time to say the thugs must be deported.

Meanwhile, Bragg is waging war against law and order another way. He will try former Marine Daniel Penny for manslaughter because Penny stopped a raging maniac from murdering fellow subway riders.

Anarcho-tyranny reigns in New York City.

Middle Finger

Eight illegal aliens “ganged up on the two cops, kicking and pummeling them, after the officers broke up a disorderly group around 8:30 p.m. Saturday on West 42nd Street, near Seventh Avenue, according to cops and surveillance footage,” the New York Post reported:

Police arrested four of the accused thugs at the scene, identified as Darwin Andres Gomez-Izquiel, 19, Kelvin Servita Arocha, 19, Wilson Juarez, 21, and Yorman Reveron, 24.

All four were later arraigned on a count each of second-degree assault on a police officer and obstructing governmental administration, according to a criminal complaint.

[Jhoan] Boada was arrested a day after the attack when a cop on a foot post in Times Square recognized him from the surveillance footage and a wanted flyer, according to the criminal complaint against him.

Two more suspects, Yohenry Brito, 24, and Jandry Barros, 21, were busted Wednesday night. They were charged with felony assault and robbery, police said.

Both Brito and Barros have past arrests for petit larceny, according to sources.

The first five men arrested are originally from Venezuela and arrived in the city late last year. All of them, other than Boada, who did not have a last known address, appear to live at city migrant shelters, according to law enforcement sources.

None have work permits or known relatives in the city, the sources said.

Three of the alien thugs are still at large.

But that wasn’t the worst of it. Elected with the help of anti-American subversive Soros, Bragg let them go.

Manhattan Assistant DA Zachary Kotin, the Post reported, told the court that the goons “were released without bail to allow us to continue to investigate,” and begged a judge to release another because “has no criminal history.”

When Boada was released, he raised a middle finger to cameras. “I didn’t do nothing,” he said.

For her part, Hochul was initially confused. She didn’t know what to do about a gang of illegal-alien thugs who attacked two cops.

Speaking to reporters, the Post reported, Hochul said that deportation is “something that should be looked at.”

And “if someone commits a crime against a police officer in the state of New York and they’re not here legally, it’s definitely worth checking into.”

Only later, after much reflection apparently, did the light go on.

“Get them all and send them back,” Hochul finally conceded. “You don’t touch our police officers. You don’t touch anyone,” she said.

But No Justice for Penny

Meanwhile, Penny awaits trial on second-degree manslaughter and criminally-negligent homicide charges.

When subway marauder Jordan Neely began threatening subway riders on May 1, Penny put the subway thug in a chokehold. Neely passed out and died.

Terrified straphangers clearly stated that Penny stopped Neely from killing one or more people.

As Penny’s motion to dismiss the charges said, “Grand Jury witnesses told of their fear upon observing Mr. Neely’s conduct. Neely’s words [were] ‘insanely threatening,’ delivered with an affect [a] witness characterized as ‘sickening’ and ‘satanic.’”

One witness thought he “was going to die,” while a girl on the subway testified that Neely said “someone is going to die today.”

No matter.

Soros legman Bragg sprung into action and charged Penny.

Anarcho-Tyranny Again

The arrest and forthcoming trial of Penny and release of the illegals are examples of what late conservative columnist Sam Francis called “anarcho-tyranny.”

Francis coined the term in the early 1990s:

Anarcho-tyranny is “essentially a kind of Hegelian synthesis of what appear to be dialectical opposites: the combination of oppressive government power against the innocent and the law-abiding and, simultaneously, a grotesque paralysis of the ability or the will to use that power to carry out basic public duties such as protection or public safety,” Francis wrote. “And, it is characteristic of anarcho-tyranny that it not only fails to punish criminals and enforce legitimate order but also criminalizes the innocent.”

Thus it is that the Biden administration has released millions of illegals to colonize the heartland and major cities, while attempting to punish Border Patrol agents who tried to stop illegal aliens from entering the country.

In New York, prosecutors released illegal aliens who tried to murder two cops, but arrested and charged a Marine veteran who stopped a violent, homicidal maniac from murdering subway riders.

That is anarcho-tyranny. And that is what governs New York City.
