It just keeps getting worse for the Democrats defending Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Salvadoran illegal alien.
The latest on the “Maryland husband and father” adds more evidence to that already released that Garcia is exactly what the Trump administration has said. He is a dangerous MS-13 member justly deported.
As The New American reported early this week, Tennessee Highway Patrol stopped Garcia in 2022 in a vehicle packed with more than half a dozen passengers. They suspected him of human trafficking. The latest: The owner of the vehicle, Just the News has revealed, had a conviction for human smuggling. The website has also reported that the Biden administration flagged the domestic abuser as a “suspect alien” involved in trafficking.
The news is yet more egg on the faces of U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen of Maryland and other willingly blind Democrats who traveled to El Salvador in the vain hope of securing Garcia’s release. Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele has said that will never happen.
SUV Owner ID’d
Van Hollen and his gang likely aren’t happy about the latest, particularly given that it supports what Just the News reported last week:
Abrego Garcia was flagged in 2022 by the Biden administration as a “suspect alien” who was possibly involved in “human smuggling/trafficking” after a traffic stop in Tennessee raised the suspicions of a state trooper, according to internal Homeland Security documents. …
[A] growing body of evidence suggests the illegal immigrant wasn’t the peaceful, law-abiding father “from Maryland,” as his wife and lawyers have claimed in the news media.
Indeed. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) logged the encounter with the Tennessee Highway Patrol, who stopped Garcia in a black 2001 Chevrolet Suburban. He told troopers that “he was transporting his passengers to Maryland from Texas for construction work, although the state trooper found no luggage in the SUV.”
The vehicle’s owner, DHS documents say, was Jose Ramon Hernandez Reyes, Just the News continued:
Abrego Garcia told the state trooper that the owner was his boss. However, that SUV was flagged separately by the Homeland Security Investigations [HSI] Baltimore field office as belonging to a target they suspected of human trafficking or smuggling, the documents show.
“Vehicle is used by HSI Baltimore target in human smuggling/trafficking operation. Vehicle makes trips to southern border to pick up non-citizens,” the record reads. The memo says the Baltimore HSI case agent should be notified if the vehicle is encountered.
Jose Ramon Hernandez Reyes, who Abrego Garcia claimed he was working for, had been previously convicted of smuggling illegal aliens into the United States.
In 2020, Hernandez Reyes, himself an illegal alien, pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 18 months in prison for smuggling fellow illegal aliens in the United States after he was stopped by law enforcement in Mississippi in a car with passengers from Mexico, El Salvador and Honduras. Homeland Security records indicate Hernandez Reyes’ “deport order” was reinstated in March 2021, as his 18-month sentence was nearing its end.
A Homeland Security official confirmed to Just the News that the Hernandez Reyes mentioned in both cases refer to the same individual. It is unclear what relationship Abrego Garcia has with Hernandez Reyes. Though he told the Tennessee trooper the vehicle was owned by his boss, Just the News has been unable to confirm whether Abrego Garcia actually worked for Hernandez Reyes.
Lawyers for Abrego Garcia did not respond to requests for comment from Just the News.
Of course they didn’t.
Anyway, Just the News investigated Reyes too. When Mississippi cops stopped him, he was carting eight illegals, including three previously deported, “from their home base of Houston, Texas, to different locations throughout the United States.” Reyes pleaded guilty and, again, landed an 18-month prison sentence with three years supervised release. He was supposed to be deported.
More on Garcia Stop
Garcia was stopped in Tennessee “for driving erratically and speeding by a state trooper in late November 2022 and was found to be driving an SUV full of people also coming from Houston, Texas, according to the documents,” Just the News reported. Cops also reported that Garcia’s vehicle “was unable to maintain its lane.”
The illegal Salvadoran’s expired license and the SUV’s luggage rack were signs that he might be smuggling or trafficking, the website reported, citing police records. Though cops didn’t arrest the miscreant, “Homeland Security picked up on the traffic stop through its computer-aided dispatch report system. Agents reviewed the target and determined he was a ‘suspect alien’ and referred his matter for review to ‘passport control.’”
Continued Just the News:
Three weeks later on Dec. 27, 2022, Homeland updated its records to urge all personnel who encountered Abrego Garcia in the future to “escort to secondary,” a term referring to the investigative procedures used when someone suspected of wrongdoing is encountered at a port of entry or by Border Patrol agents.
Aside from that, records from Prince George’s County police and released by U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi show that Garcia is almost certainly an MS-13 terror gang member subject to deportation.
Garcia “was validated as a member of the Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) Gang,” the county record shows. His gang rank was “Chequeo” and his street name “Chele.” A chequeo, the BBC reported, is not a rank but a name for a new recruit.
President Trump released a photo of Garcia’s tattooed fingers that show his coded MS-13 affiliation.
As The New American reported yesterday, while Van Hollen is the Pied Piper leading Democrats on the deranged crusade to return Garcia to the United States, a key member of the mischief is California House Democrat Robert Garcia.
A Peruvian homosexual, Senator Garcia too was an illegal alien.
After Kilmar Abrego Garcia met with Van Hollen, El Salvador President Bukele, who called Garcia a terrorist, said “he gets the honor of staying in El Salvador.”
