Bernie Sanders, who will once again be running to be president of the United States in 2020, has said that he plans to power the United States with green energy, absent nuclear power. He wants nuclear power gone.

Sanders claims to believe that man-made CO2 is leading to climate catastrophe, hence his power plan. And he, like many others, fears nuclear power. 

However, despite what one believes about the validity of human-caused global warming, not using nuclear power to generate electricity for this country is a mistake no matter how you look at it.
