The same group of politicians who kneeled before the criminals responsible for destroying billions of dollars of American infrastructure in 2020 wants to restrict or completely abolish your right to self-defense.
This is the same segment of lawmakers who supported the idea that the police should be defunded on the basis of the conspiracy theory of “systemic police brutality.”
These politicians and their army of propagandists won’t admit the biological difference between male and female, insist you are a bigot for having such an ability, yet want the power to define who is too mentally ill to have a gun.
They drone on and on about America’s gun violence. Their cohorts in the legacy media pound into the minds of their readers mind-numbing editorials and one-sided articles on a daily basis about how uncivilized we are as a nation. And their solutions to our national violence problem, ironically — perhaps insanely — is less police and a disarmed populace. Meanwhile, they sleep in homes surrounded by impenetrable walls and are guarded by heavily armed personal security guards around the clock.
Perhaps you object to this characterization. Maybe you’re like many of the “balanced” people out there who believe “no right is without its limitations.” Or maybe you don’t agree that banning “weapons of war” is the same as completely banning firearms. There are plenty of other firearms besides an AR-15. Nobody is going after your Second Amendment right, buddy, so settle down.
However, the push for “gun control” measures is not about restricting your right to firearms. It’s not even about protecting children. The Left’s policies and social re-engineering efforts have rendered their constituents’ communities the most crime-ridden areas in the country, conditions their demented social ideas have only worsened. Their real goal is to abolish the entire Second Amendment. This isn’t right-wing fearmongering. Their own words and actions make this clear.
In a May 26 piece in The New Republic titled “Democrats Need to Start Talking About Repealing the Second Amendment,” staff writer and fellow at the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law Walter Shapiro made that clear. The problem, Shapiro, said, is that Democrats have been seeking incremental gun-control changes. However, he rightly recognizes that there are hundreds of millions firearms in America, more than there are people. Because there is such a saturation of firearms in this country, the incremental approach just won’t do. The solution? “It is time for gun control advocates to start talking about life without a Second Amendment. Maybe the long-term solution to the pandemic of gun violence might be confiscation of assault weapons or tight regulations on the sale of bullets.” Shapiro is also a lecturer in political science at Yale University, so his ideas poison the minds of tomorrow’s influencers.
This isn’t a one-off. Two days later, The Washington Post, a top-tier Deep State propaganda factory, published a piece titled “A Supreme Court justice’s solution to gun violence: Repeal Second Amendment.” It cited former Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens, who said anti-gunners “should demand a repeal of the Second Amendment.”
In 2018, The New York Times, the top mouthpiece for Deep State propaganda, also cited Stevens’ views as proxy for its own support for a Second Amendment repeal.
And in 2019, The Nation, a longstanding leftist magazine, ran a piece titled “It’s Time to Repeal—and Replace—the Second Amendment.”
These are just a few of the examples of what mainstream opinion manufacturing factories are putting out there. And make no mistake, lawmakers are doing everything they can to make it impossible for Americans to have firearms. In 2021, Rep. Sheila Jackson (D-Texas) introduced H.R.127, the Sabika Sheikh Firearm Licensing and Registration Act. The bill would implement registration of all firearms, ban “large-capacity” magazines, mandate that all gun owners have an $800 insurance policy, and make buying and having ammunition so onerous that the average American will essentially have no Second Amendment. The goal is obvious.
If these people are given an inch — a millimeter — they will not stop. They’re not just after your AR-15. The ultimate goal is to completely disarm the only civilized nation they haven’t yet. The globalists cannot impose their totalitarian, Chinese-style utopia if one-third of Americans are armed.
The tragic massacre in Uvalde, Texas, revealed — or for some, reiterated — a harsh reality. And it’s not what the media wants you to believe. We’ve learned the shooter walked in, armed to the teeth, without resistance. No school resource officer to take him out, not even a locked door to at least delay him. We also learned that officers with guns and body armor showed up within minutes, only to sit by for about an hour while the shooter continued his massacre. They were waiting for more officers with more guns to arrive. Fourteen agencies of officers trained to confront criminals sat by while a criminal was snuffing out lives and children were bleeding to death. We also learned that while the officers outside did not confront the shooter, they did manage to devote their training and authority to detaining the hysterical parents whose children were inside the horror house, parents whose taxes paid for those armed men to confront homicidal lunatics. In fact, a group of brave men who couldn’t stand by anymore went rogue, disobeyed the command leader, and finally took out the shooter.
A few days later, a woman in West Virginia pulled out her handgun and shot dead a man who opened fire at a party. It turns out this is fairly common. As TNA reported, “According to the Journal of Quantitative Criminology, armed citizens use guns to defend themselves ‘at least 989,883 times’ every year.”
The moral of the story is, when it comes to protecting ourselves and loved ones, we are on our own.
For the intellectually semi-awake, rational segment of society, this isn’t news. This has always been the reality. Many Americans became convinced in 2020. Five million people became new gun owners in 2020 after seeing their federal representatives kneel before the criminals who were burning their communities to the ground.
This isn’t to say that we shouldn’t have police. We certainly should. And they should be brave and competent and they should do their job. It’s only to say that we cannot always count on them and shouldn’t take any chances when it comes to protecting our loved ones.
Those screaming about gun control want law-abiding citizens to pay with our rights for the society their demented ideas and policies have created.
They created a godless society that doesn’t value life. It’s harder to value life when you believe humans are a cosmic accident, as opposed to believing the Creator of the Universe intentionally created us. It’s hard to value life when the law allows the smallest and most vulnerable human beings to be slaughtered in their mother’s womb.
These same ideologues created a victim culture that pools Americans into identity victim groups and stirs constant strife among the groups.
They created the narrative that our nation is based on atrocities, lies, and racism. They’ve stripped entire generations of their sense of national pride.
Their insane social ideas have resulted in a psychiatric profession that doesn’t even acknowledge that “gender dysphoria” is a mental illness.
They’ve created a culture that demonizes masculinity. It’s telling that nearly all the shooters are young men and an overwhelming majority of prisoners come from fatherless homes. Nearly all of these shooters tend to have no relationship with their father, or a poor one.
The ideologues created a society that has destroyed the foundation of success, emotional well-being, and the teacher of personal responsibility — the traditional family.
Furthermore, they continue to pollute the public forum with anti-Constitutional ideas.
What they’ve done is created an insane society ignorant of the great tradition of this nation.
We are losing our minds as a nation. And they want to convince us that now is the time to disarm the law-abiding.
It’s up to those of us who still have our marbles to pull us back off the ledge. We must defy today’s toxic culture and reclaim the values-based one that built this nation. We must build and keep our families intact. We must raise our boys to be responsible, self-disciplined, masculine men who will use their power for good. We must reject immorality on as many levels as possible.
On the practical level, we must accept the idea that the safety of our families first falls on the adults. And we must learn how to protect our loved ones and our communities. We must be a society of law-abiding but fearsome citizens that criminals fear. When it comes to guns, we must learn and then teach others how to handle firearms, and do so with respect. And for the love of God, lock the school doors and have an armed officer ready to kill any maniac who comes near the school doors armed. Better yet, get those kids out of public schools.
