Tuesday evening the Associated Press and other news sources called former President Donald Trump the winner of the New Hampshire Republican Party primary. With 93 percent of the votes counted at this time, Trump has 54.5 percent (165,629 votes) and Nikki Haley has 43.2 percent (131,105 votes).
Haley spoke in Concord and congratulated Trump on winning the New Hampshire primary, saying, “I want to congratulate Donald Trump on his victory tonight, he earned it, and I want to acknowledge that.”
Haley says she will stay in the race for the Republican nomination, and despite Trump sweeping the first two elections in the 2024 Republican primary, Haley told her supporters, “This race is far from over, there are dozens of states left to go.”
Trump spoke with Senator Tim Scott (R-S.C.) and Vivek Ramaswamy next to him on stage, and during his victory speech said, “You know we won New Hampshire three times now, three, three, we win it every time, we win the primary, we win the generals, we’ve won it and its a very, very special place to me.”
