Russian Lieutenant-General Igor Kirillov was killed by an explosion as he left his Moscow residence this morning. The bomb that killed Kirillov and his assistant was hidden in a electric scooter left near the entrance to the apartment building.

Ukranian operatives allegedly assassinated Kirillov a day after he was charged in absentia by Ukrainian prosecutors following a Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) investigation claiming he authorized the use of banned chemical weapons in Ukraine.

Politico reported the SBU claimed responsibility for Kirillov’s assassination, publishing a statement made by an anonymous Ukrainian official: “Kirillov was a war criminal and an absolutely legitimate target since he gave orders to use banned chemical weapons against the Ukrainian military. Such an inglorious end awaits all who kill Ukrainians. Retribution for war crimes is inevitable.”

In response to the bombing, Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev said Russia will respond to the attack, stating, “Law enforcement agencies must find the killers in Russia…. Everything must be done to destroy the masterminds who are in Kyiv. We know who these masterminds are. They are the military and political leadership of Ukraine.”

Krillov was chief of Russia’s nuclear, biological, and chemical defense forces, and was investigating the Russian claims of U.S. biological weapons laboratories in Ukraine, stating during a briefing earlier this year:

The US Has Relocated Ukrainian Bio-Labs to Africa and Are Planning to Release Avian Flu a bioweapon To Start Another Pandemic, and Blame It On Putin. The U.S. bioweapon operations was relocated due to Russia’s liberation of the labs in Ukraine. Biden-owned Metabiota and other intermediary NGOs are running cover for the U.S. State Department and DoD, posing as humanitarian organizations to conceal their true objective of pathogen production for Big Pharma.
