Israeli media is reporting that a ceasefire deal between Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and Hezbollah is imminent. The U.S.-backed ceasefire plan includes the withdrawal of IDF soldiers from Lebanon, the removal of Hezbollah weapons and fighters south of the Litani river in the area north of the Israeli border, and a 60-day ceasefire. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to make a statement today at 8:00 p.m. Israel Standard Time, 1:00 p.m Eastern Standard Time.

The IDF is continuing military operations prior to the pending ceasefire agreement, with Israeli Air Force (IAF) aircraft carrying out strikes destroying Hezbollah command headquarters, and weapon depots. Earlier today IDF Arabic spokesperson Colonel Avichay Adraee posted a warning to residents in southern Lebanon to evacuate before IDF strikes, stating in a post on X:
