Former President Donald Trump met with Elon Musk in Florida, according to The New York Times in an article published yesterday. The Times reported that Trump is looking to align with wealthy donors to fund his presidential campaign after facing judgments against him in the civil fraud case and a defamation trial in New York state.
Musk addressed the rumors on X, stating, “Just to be super clear, I am not donating money to either candidate for US President.” In another post he stated, “Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a very real disease”
Musk has been critical of the Biden administration’s handling of the U.S. southern border crisis in posts on his social media platform X, but has not endorsed any presidential candidate.
