The New York Times reported that President Joe Biden is allegedly questioning if he can recover from his debate performance last week — according to a “key ally” who claims to have had discussions with Biden.
The anonymous source said Biden understands that the campaign events heading into the holiday weekend must go well, stating, “He knows if he has two more events like that, we’re in a different place.” The source said Biden is “well aware of the political challenge he faces.”
White House spokesman Andrew Bates denied the Times report, telling Fox News Digital, “That claim is absolutely false. If the New York Times had provided us with more than 7 minutes to comment, we would have told them so.”
