Louisiana Republican Congressman Clay Higgins dubbed the melee that happened at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, “a conspiracy at the highest level” during an interview with Tucker Carlson.
Higgins told Carlson his office has been investigating the incident extensively and he’s concluded the event was a collaborative setup organized “at the highest levels” of the FBI in collusion with elements within the Democratic Party.
Higgins added that he’s comfortable going on record with the belief that there were at least two hundred FBI assets on the ground on J6, including a number that led people around the Capitol once inside.
Based on his office’s investigation, Higgins believes FBI agents had been working to entrap people for months before the event, seemingly even before the election. As for the election, Higgins called it “compromised.”
The entire point of all that devious conspiring, Higgins concluded, was to discredit and destroy the MAGA movement, a goal, he said, of establishment elements within both major parties.
